Why does the majority of ark actively kill the game? Posted: 13 Dec 2019 05:47 AM PST (Tldr: high level players attack new players with no reason actively destroying the community and any hope of the game growing, why?). Hello everyone, new player to ark playing for two weeks now but learned a lot fast. Built a nice base in highlands metal building behemoth gate wall 6 or so turrets lots of tames. Throughout my whole time building this base I was consistently being raided once a day by a player in a mek over and over was shocked to find out those were even a thing haha. Well the guy was looking for an offline raid and would run away every time he realized I was online and started attacking more carefully after I managed to kill his wyvryns with c4 during one of the raid defenses. Eventually he attacked when I was offline and 100% wiped me and stole all my cryroed tames, i sucked it up switched servers started a new base. Two days in got a defense wall stone huts and metal kit about to prefab my whole base out of metal and build a fabricator and get some turrets. High level player on a wyvryn shows up wipes everything. This process happened 4-5 more times. My question is, why? What do high level players running around on lvl 300+ mounts get from killing new players? None of them have stolen equipment none of them were provoked I don't see a reason other than to be toxic or try to get a reaction. Internet Disconnect Posted: 13 Dec 2019 07:51 AM PST So I was in the middle of gathering metal when my wifi disconnected. There were some troodons and dilos nearby. Is there any hope for my Argy and anky or for that matter my body/inventory? I guess I'm asking if that stuff will aggro on me if I'm laying next to it or my animals. Seeing as offline damage prevented takes 15 f**king minutes to kick in, I'm assuming I've as good as lost everything since anything that meant something was in my inventory submitted by /u/LoneWolf820B [link] [comments]
