Has the game improved since I’ve last played? Posted: 14 Jan 2020 07:58 AM PST I played quite a bit two years ago. Me and my friend would play co-op on our single player mode world on the Xbox One. What broke the game for us is how everything kept breaking in bizarre ways. Our metal source randomly stopped regenerating any metal whatsoever, we had numerous, numerous glitches that contributed to loss of items and dinos, and so much more. My base and dinos are randomly gone. Can anyone help? Posted: 13 Jan 2020 08:58 PM PST Im playing single player on xbox 1. I was on a T-rex and Allo heading back to my base, when i got there it was all gone. I tried closing the game and reloading, that only made my two dinos i was on poof out of existince. Just so I'm clear. Obelisk blocking is allowed now? (Island servers) Posted: 13 Jan 2020 05:41 PM PST I took a break from ark around official release and much to my surprise they had actually been enforcing the whole anti ob blocking thing. Now fast forward to now, I try to transfer to another server to join my wife and I literally every obelisk is massively blocked and majority of the drops too. I thought they did away with this type of gameplay. Why are you still able to build anywhere near the obelisks? Why can't it be done on rag but allowed on the island? Remove distance fog / haze Posted: 13 Jan 2020 03:28 PM PST I recently reinstalled Ark and now I have a constant haze in the distance, my pc can run the game on epic settings with no problem but I've tried every in game setting available to fix this with no joy. I've even tried various launch options like -sm4, -nomansky, etc. I used to be able to see clearly into the distance and colors were vibrant but now I can't even see what color loot drops are - it's so washed out and 'drab'.
