    The Red Kings

    2016 me and my Brothers started a small clan The Red Kings, without any knowledge about the dangers ahead we set on to become one of the best 3 man tribe on the server until the Chinese nation attacked, hackers roaming everywhere we got wiped but never gave up,

    we got up on our feet and stroke the enemy back with all force wiping them completely, they called for backup they got 4 other clan together flying over our hidden base and within an hour we completely moved our base and items, wasting their time getting ready, while transferring our stuff we got a surprise attack from a giga that was roaming the mountains and came down to the rivers for hunting, we all died running back to get our stuff we saw the Giga guarding our stuff so we tried to kite the giga away from our stuff; i became a bait as i was the fastest leading the Giga away my brothers manged to get our stuff and i died smiling knowing our stuff was safe until i heard one of my brothers scream on the radio "WE ARE DONE!" i ran to check on them and saw two Chinese men fully geared looking over my brothers dead bodies i ran and clubbed one into the oblivion but sadly i got shot by the other one and died,

    we all revived at our mountain farming base naked with nothing but stone tools losing everything and dinos we looked at each other and said "This was fun, but we will never last on this damn island with the Chinese nation around so we moved on"

    my brothers quit and i stayed alone looking for allies, when i joined a new server i saw a strange creature, upon a closer inspection it appeared to be a man naked running from a Raptor so i went to help, together we manged to kill the Raptor then i thought to myself why not kill this weird creature as well? or make him a slave so i invited him to my clan The Red Kings, lying to him in order to make him work and kick him out later but then throughout our adventures he turned out to be a very nice guy and i was never a type of person to betray good people so we became best buddies hunting, raiding together even i told him about that time i thought about killing him and he was like "it doesn't matter we all gotta survive in this harsh nature we have to do what we gotta do so i don't blame you" and it made my trust even stronger in him until one day i logged in to find out he was gone, he sent me a message on Steam saying "i'm sorry, i will not be playing for awhile, will get back to you soon"

    and those were his last words since then he never came back on,

    Offline forever and me sending him messages day after day hoping he will come back, i made extra room and bed just for him in hopes he may come back one day but he never did so at this point i gave up and moved on.

    in hopes of finding new allies once again i went to a distance land Scorched Earth, a hot and ruthless land with danger waiting around every corner, there i met a few people seemed to be busy hatching Wyvern eggs, they tried to kill me so i yelled "I'M FRIENDLY PLEASE DON'T KILL ME" they put down their weapons and invited me to their tribe which was a surprise for me and i joined i thought why not?

    my experience with that clan was a horror show that i will never forget,

    looking down at me each member of the clan looked at me as a farming mechanic, i was assigned to farm 5k Wood and Stone every day while they roamed the land adventuring, exploring having fun leaving me behind while i took care of the babies, the farming the base, and even building.

    They often made fun of me but i ignored it and just wanted to fit in as the world outside was dangerous alone, then that night everything changed when a clan attacked us out of nowhere,

    it begun!

    the fight that we were destined to lose as the enemy outnumbered us but we came out victorious because i was able to kill the guy who was in the middle of attaching C4 to every important part of our Base, looted him and then sniped 2 others, found their hidden little base with beds and destroyed them while my clan mates were flying foolishly screaming at each other "DO THIS, DO THAT, GO THERE" even calling me stupid like it was their first time in a fight!

    That night was hell of a fight but we won nonetheless but i was not praised in fact they blamed me for everything we only lost a few dinos and nothing more everything was safe because i have had re-arranged our vaults to a safer spot but what did i get? i got kicked out of the tribe.

    So it began my lust for revenge, i was extremely angry, i wanted them dead very badly so i went to the other clan that attacked us the other night, i told that i know everything about the clan they tried to raid and failed, it did not work out well because they thought i was a spy and lying so they kept killing me every time i tired to talk to them so i just gave up on convincing them,

    i exited Ark and went to my brothers room and told him "I need your help, please this is a one time request help me to wipe this clan and i will do whatever you want"

    he responded "i don't play Ark anymore but i will help you anyways but in return you will have to buy me a monthly WoW sub" and i agreed.

    The Red Kings are back, As my brother joined me we came up with a plan to fuck them up,

    good thing was that i knew everything about them i knew the base inside and out, i knew their active times and what they do when they are on, so we planned to strike at mid-night when none of them were online because we knew we were out numbered and broke so we had to do with what we had and we did not have enough resources to fight them head on.

    The great clock ringed (i don't live in london btw) the time had came, we stroke the the weakest point of the defence and killed the dinos that were outside their pens, emptied their turrets and blew up their storage room clean, then the hard part came to transfer all these stuff but the stuff was so much we had to just throw everything away and just keep the essentials, and used their own resources to wipe their entire base and dinos we teabagged the hell out of their bodies which was very satisfying and left with a big smile on our face,

    i enjoyed every second of it.

    then i quit the server and moved on to take a break from Ark for awhile.

    This was the Story of The Red Kings that once roamed the Ark Lands and now are nowhere to be found but a lonely Red King telling his story.

    Every time I die ark closes..

    Every time I die to pvp, and most times I die to pve my ark client closes and I have to restart. This makes playing on pvp official servers not much fun.. I play on xbox. Anyone else having similar issues or know how to correct it?

    Lunar Meteor Shower

    Where EXACTLY is the overrideofficialdifficulty value in the GameUserSettings? I can’t find it in there.

    I want to change my difficulty in single player, but I can't find the OverrideOfficialDifficulty. Does anyone know where it exactly is in the GameUserSettings document?

    Any word on when lava is going to be fixed?

    Magmasaurs take damage from any lava that isnt either on Genesis or the Island, and even the Island only works in the Volcano, Tek Cave and the other cave both deal damage. It seems like that should've been a thing that was caught in testing since there arent that many lava sources in the game

    Dead before being able to move because you designed Genesis around your notoriously buggy teleporting SUCKS FECES SMEARING ANUS!!! You delayed the game TWO times! It should be near flawless and we have a crashy laggy dino disappearing poopfest. FIX YOUR GAME!FFS!

    We all on lockdown and just want to play a game that works. COME ON! FIX IT!

    Game Help

    This may be inappropriate to post here so direct me somewhere if it is, but is there anyone on here whom can help me with my pc for ark? I can only seem to run the game as well as my friend with a 1060 while i have a 2080 on the same settings (my other friend with a 2080 runs it at 100+ fps consistently with our settings), i was suggested to move the wiring around but when i did i found no changes.

    Looking for peoples tames that they no longer want/need. Playing on pvp Ragnorak server after being wiped three times by server hopping raiders with meks.     I dont want any teks, genesis, ex, and their dinos and other stuffs. My tribe mates too. I have 4.5k hours on ark. im playing then 2016. and I think all this tek stuffs are bullshit. If wildcard will not be respect to us, we will uninstall the game with 10 players.. TX

    Bloodstalker wont fish

    Hi guys, my bloodstalker doesnt target fish, they all appear with the white outline and the purple reticule doesnt appear. Any idea on how to fix this ? Its not a big deal but I really love all the mechanics with this wonderful tame ! Good days !

    How is Everyone so advanced

    I keep on seeing so many people on here and different ark subreddits and thats great and its good people are doing well, however, I don't understand how everyone gets this advanced without being wiped by a mek within their first week of starting out. Is there something i'm missing? Is everyone just playing on private nitrado servers or are me and my friends just completely and utterly lost when it comes to tactics.

    We keep on building bases on Ragnarok in places like behind the waterfall or in the SW islands as far away from mainland as we could get, we would just be on stone buildings or halfway through converting to metal when out of no-where a mek decides to just destroy everything weve done in the past few days and i just dont understand how everyone here seems to be doing perfect and I wish to discover how.

    Please disable HLNA light show when you craft on console.

    HLNA flashes colors when you craft something. Sounds cool until you use a grinder or a chem bench for gunpowder. The flash show becomes a constantly glowing HLNA and your framerate takes a hard dump. The game is almost unplayable while the grinder is running.

    Story/Lore and the Genesis Pet

    We're restarting with the purpose of working through all the story maps to see/read the story as we've seen little of it. So we're on the Island as of last night. We haven't bought Genesis yet, is it worth it to have the pet?

    Read somewhere that it will tell you things on the maps other than Genesis that are part of the story lore.
