| I'm close to deleting this game, I need advice. Posted: 12 Jun 2020 10:53 AM PDT I brought this game while on sale in UK lockdown to fix my boredom, however I've found myself in endless amounts of frustration. I've gameshared this game with a friend so we could play together, but then came along an abundance of issues. First I had to deal with the private server issue of tether, which we all know is very frustrating and that there is no way to get around it without spending money (which I cannot afford). So we decided to join a public server. Onto the second set of problems, we encountered things such as level 90 enemies in the recommended starter areas, and the amount of lag wouldn't even let us run away efficiently. However the worst thing that happened is greifing from other players, such as them killing us, breaking storage and taking what little supplies we had collected, I know the way around this is to go on a PvE server but I still encounter all of the latter problems. I am obviously very new to Ark and would appreciate some advice on how to avoid these issues and be in a game with my friend were we can start out and actually enjoy the game. [link] [comments]  |

| Personal Unofficial Server Wiped After Update? Posted: 11 Jun 2020 06:33 PM PDT Hey all, having a strange issue. Loaded up the game after the update today (ps4), and found that my map had been totally wiped, days reset, character deleted. This is a nitrado server, password protected, that I was using for my own personal play through. I tried restoring multiple back ups from pre-update but no dice. It just doesnt register anything. Is there anything I can do or am I SoL? No big deal if not, I'll just start a new adventure if so. [link] [comments]  |
