    Game is unplayable because of lag

    I am 100% sure it isn't because of my PC , because a friend of mine runs ark with no problems with a worse pc and i barely get 30 fps on the same settings. Does anyone know how can i fix it and what's causing it? I still haven't tested it on online servers and i tried it on singleplayer. (Got it on Epic Games and installed the mod pack and the center as well)

    Playing with friends but obviously we can only play when the leader is on. Is there anyway for us to jump on without him as he goes away most weekends?

    Connection issues (Epic games store)

    Hello, friends!

    I just got the game free from Epic, waited overnight to finally play but whenever I try to join a server, it umps from the loading screen to the main menu, as well as opening Ark's store page in the Epic app.

    I searched around and found a single similar complaint, in Steam.

    The textures of the map wont load all i see is my character floating and dinos walking around.

    Tried verify files and deleting the old workshop map.

    Any fix other then redownloading 200g?

    All EU servers FULL

    Can't load in to Crystal Isles. Getting error. Anyone else having this issue?

    I get this error now whenever I try to run Ark since crystal isles update. I've tried validating steam cache but end up in a validation loop, and reinstalling the program completely doesn't fix it. When I try to load into Crystal Isles it opens my steam menu and takes me back to Arks main menu in the background. Any ideas on how to load in to crystal isles?

    Why does my ARK download take pauses?

    The first time I donwloaded ARK on Steam, it took me 30 minutes. Yesterday, I downloaded ARK on Epic Games and it took 30 minutes. I'm currently redownloading ARK on Steam, and after downloading 1%, it takes a break of around 10 minutes. This only started happening after I got to 44%, which I downloaded in about 20 minutes.

    I got the game from the Epic Games free weekly game, but haven't played at all yet. I googled general stuff about this game, and everyone says that it is very buggy, but most of those articles/posts are from 2016-2017. So I want to know, is the game in a playable state as of 2020?

    Game looks awful on Epic settings

    First of all, yes my specs are good enough. I7-7700k and a 1080, resolution scale on max.

    However, this game looks awful both up close (grass especially) and far away (literally everything) But whenever I look at a video people are running med-high settings and it looks really good. What's up?

    Wild Card killing linux servers on purpose.

    Every update for last year plus has broken linux servers again and again. The Ark linux community has needed to try and fix itself each time or wait days or weeks after to get official fixes. WC doesn't like private servers running on linux and their official servers run on Windows which is a joke. GG Wild Card enough is enough you win with your horrible IT practices. You didn't even try to make linux servers for Atlas so not surprised this happened with Ark. Peace out if you want a real survival game where the devs at least listen to the ITs who support the servers try 7 Days to Die.
