| Posted: 21 Jun 2020 08:45 AM PDT I am creating a hyena pack and bred the two best wild tame adults that I had. The pups of those came out with the melee damage of the one parent. As I imprinted them, they obviously got better stats. the one, sibling (there were twins and then a second breeding produced their sibling) will have over 400 melee damage I believe with the next imprint if not, it'll be close. Do, I breed that sibling to one of its other siblings to get better stats, or how do I keep getting better stats? [link] [comments]  | ||

I recently started playing again and found myself more interested in the technical side of things. I used to just play casually so I didn't really care to delve into the more unique side of the game but now I find myself wondering. I tamed a trike the other day and started running around harvesting, killing, etc. just to try and get some levels on it. But I found myself really wanting to know the answer to something: what stat(s) should I increase? I was curious because initially I just started putting some weight stats and movement speed/stamina to make commute easier but I found that it was a waste because at base, it had around 200% movement speed, 750 stam, and 700 weight. When I put a point into movement speed, it only increase by 1.3%, while weight increased by roughly 45, and stamina increased by about 60. When put into perspective, there's a clear difference in the percentage in which each stat increases. And knowing that this varied from dino to dino, I wanted to know which stats increased the most (percentage-wise) on each dinosaur, and the best thing I found was this https://ark.gamepedia.com/Triceratops#Base_Stats_and_Growth. Due to that, I started wondering how to reduce the file size, as I heard you can do so, but after I looked at the proposed solution of compression I found people saying it becomes very problematic once the game updates. I heard something about new files stacking up with every update. Is it actually true? If so, is there a way to remove the unnecessarily stacked files without hurting the game in the long run? | Posted: 20 Jun 2020 08:46 PM PDT How well do they work together? I know if you were to go metal farming with anklo and you were to use cryopod it would drop inventory. But what about bronto with platform saddle? How does that work when it has things like boxes on it? Do they get destroyed? Everything fall out?
