| I want to enjoy this game but it keeps sucking the fun out of itself Posted: 12 Jul 2020 07:48 AM PDT I go to get Iron, My Sarco gets stunlocked by Baryonyx, I go to get my loot and my Kaprosuchus leaves me stuck in the middle of the lake alone as it runs to the shore for No reason, I go to get Iron at the other Iron place and my Iguanadon gets ambushed and body blocked by Direwolves and they buff eachother it, I go the other way and my other Iguanadon slips down a invisible ledge into a pit it can't leave, I get stuck in a crevice in the hole and have to wait to starve to death, I respawn get some tools and go to build a ramp out, the stability system means I have no way to get down there, I die, I respawn at home and there is an Alpha Raptor spawned in my base thats killed my Pet monkey, My Scorpion, My Camel and I finally kill it with the Giant Armadillo.....This isn't the first time either Ever time I try do anything broken Mechanics, Over population of Predators that don't fight each other and the difficulty to do simple tasks just suck the enjoyment out of it.....I really want to like this game but it's so discouraging....it's not even that it's hard hard, just unfair [link] [comments]  | ||
| Can't get rid of leech in single player PS4, even after dying Posted: 12 Jul 2020 10:54 AM PDT I can't seem to get rid of a leech that is attached to me in ARK. I'm playing single player so there's no one who can pull it off me. I tried putting on bug repellant, jumping into a fire to burn it off, and even just staying in the fire until it kills me. Still I just respawn with the damn leech. I don't know if this is a PS4 glitch or something but it's driving me nuts. I don't know if it matters but I was in creative mode for a second a while ago, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't when I got the leech. Edit: It was on my gator, thanks guys! [link] [comments]  | ||

Need grinders, builders, and breeders. Need to be able to help out and grind for materials. The Dino's do have different harvesting stats so they're not OP on getting materials. Server is 20x with all of the maps, slight boosted stats but with infinite weight and oxygen. The server has a nice shop as well. After a length hiatus, I've gone back and added entries for both Extinction and Genesis: Part 1. The following code equalizes the spawn weights of all creature levels on a given map, giving any one level a 3.33% chance (1 in 30) to spawn, which is contrary to the default spawning conditions of story ARK maps (which only allows specific level permutations to spawn) and more in-line with the non-canon maps like Ragnarok. | Posted: 12 Jul 2020 02:17 AM PDT Hello, i joined this game the past week, and i really like it, but I can't stand that during this week only i lost 3 dinos, 1 ptera (who cares) but 2 argys and that what us really annoying me, the first time i lost the argy was on the mountain while im trying to tame an anky, it was legally right on my side, then poof, disappeared, i searched the whole mountain for it then found it glitched in a rock so i whistled and he came, then after one day only i lost 1 ptera and 1 another argy lvl 235 in the swamps, i died there so i came back, i called it and and it was literally bedside me, i opened my inventory, closed it, not it or the ptera are her, i searched the surrounding area for them but found nothing, and i still need a got bit of grinding to make tracker and im scared now to take any dino with me anywhere, what noticed is that both of them when they bugged away in both times they were on "stasis mood" i made them not following me. So, any advice to how not get the dinos lost by this stupid bug? Official server [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 11 Jul 2020 10:23 PM PDT I was looking all over for any posts regarding these settings to make non-meta dinosaurs viable for boss fights without making it trivial. Basically i wanted my breeding pair of dire wolves to sire a pack that can take on single player bosses in alpha difficutly without resorting on rexes or therizinosaurs. I will definitely still have a yuty and a daedon as supports. Which settings would you recommend to tweak in tamed dino stats/stats per level to make the other non-meta dinos competitive in single player 1.0 settings? [link] [comments]  | ||
