ARK: Survival Evolved Daily Community Thread - ARKitecture Thursday!

Hey guys! I'm the developer of Dododex. I've been getting a lot of reports about the Bloodstalker ever since the 2x update last week. Everyone way saying Dododex's Bloodstalker calculations were showing about half of the required bloodpacks.

After doing some of my own tests, I confirmed that the Bloodstalker was not impacted by the new permanent 2x rates. The Bloodstalker's taming calculator has been fixed.

They're still insanely high.

Examples:

Level 10 Bloodstalker - 160 Bloodpacks (+/-25%) - 2x would have been 80
Level 50 Bloodstalker - 480 Bloodpacks (+/-25%)
Level 150 Bloodstalker - 1506 Bloodpacks (+/-25%)

During 2x evolution events, Bloodstalkers are normally affected. I'm guessing this is just the way the new base rates are implemented, and future evolution events will still half their rates.

Does anyone have any tips for when you wanna switch locations and rebuild solo? I have lots of tames on scorched earth at my current spot and I'm not sure how I will bring them all with me when I relocate.

Ark SP Pc Mindwipe Tonic, still bugged?

I finally got my ascendant rex saddle (swamp cave red loot crate into big room that lead to artifact room on the right) and as suggested from another guy to use high crafting skill lvl for armor increase on saddle, i would like to know if the issue on Mindwipe tonic is fixed for pc? I think that was mostly about xbox players? Anyway i really want to start making the saddle to take down the bosses even if i believe that i can't craft them since the quantity of stuff is crazy xD maybe i need the tek fabricator... Ill do some maths to see if fits, don't want to bug my points!

Ice queen solo

Been playing on a pvp server with 5x rates and am trying to slowly do all the bosses. Finally figured out a way to do the lava golem solo. Now to move to Ice queen.I have looked at a few solo guides but most of them are using asendaent armor and lvl 400 dinos.I attempted to kill the ice queen on a private server for testing with a 150 snow owl but that didnt work haha.

Anyone know of any dinos that I should try and the level they need to be to try and beat the ice queen solo.

Also besides an assendant shotgun, what else can I use to clear the mobs before hand

Possibly good video idea I've been thinking about for a while. Looking for a bit of feedback

I was thinking something that could potentially be a really good video idea would be to create a tribe on a pvp server and just try to get as many people into as possible. No amount of common sense, just let in completely random people even if they seem sketchy.

I think depending on how the tribe goes the video could either become a sort of social experiment about people who play ark and who's trustworthy and who's not or it coukd just become a comedy video if everything falls apart and the tribe just breaks up and stops listening to me.

It would be sort of like a trashy reality show on TV but real. With characters and stupid petty drama and overall just a hoot.

So this would obviously be a pretty good amount of time to sink into a video so I was wondering if you people think something like this has the potential to be something you watch? Whether its funny or you would just enjoy some tribe drama?

Obviously I expect to be insided and generally just fucked over, but I think half of the fun of the show would be a like a murder mystery with you trying to figure out who's loyal and whos not.

Never seen this before the new update. It's changed patterns in the 5 minutes I was at the base of the mountain and I have no idea what it is. Nobody has built ANYTHING in this biome except a golem trap, we have zero mods, and the only tame in the biome right now is my managarmr mount. (Genesis snow biome)

Help adding Crystal Isles Dino Spawns

(On Xbox Nitrado Hosted Server)

I am trying to add some dinos to my server, wondering if there would be any to help proof this and/or help with some questions.

On Crystal Isles, is there a way to have a spawn in just the Emberfalls area for lava X dinos, just the white shoals area for the Chalk golem, and just the Eldritch isles area for an Astrocetus?
I really do not think this will work since they do not spawn on the map originally, but could there be eggs for an ice wyvern, rock drake, and Deinonychus?
if no for #2 is there a way to get some to work on the map without having to spawn the dino in tamed already?
can you give me an example for adding an X-dino (new to the coding for ini files)
For #4 would it be the same for adding corrupted dinos to the map? or can this even be done?
Does my Config for adding dinos look okay, currently at work, and could not test.
