Game crashes on bootup, json error

So my ark is crashing when I boot up the game. I get a json error (see image). The thing is, it only gives the error when my pc is connected with the internet, so it must be an internet connection issue. anyone else have or had this error?

Wing crippling mechanic in boss fights where bosses fly

This is an inspiration from a game called "Fallout 76" where when you fight a dragon-like monster, you can shoot its wings and when you shoot them enough, they become crippled. This would be a savior in some boss fights such as Valguero boss fight where manticore sometimes doesn't land at all.

Underwater airlock

Caveats to swapping between servers / single player?

I play (PC) on a privately hosted (FragNet I believe) PVE server that runs The Island map, but only The Island. I've seen tutorials on how to move between servers, and would like to go to other maps to get some more exotic dinos, but I want to do so without breaking my survivor progress, dino stats, and the like.

What sort of limits or considerations do I need to be aware of when uploading my survivor and any dinos and going to other maps (and/or coming back to this hosted one)? Can I just spin up single player instances of those other maps on my PC and go back and forth between those and this hosted server?

I've found some isolated tidbits that it's not as simple as that, but that info is old and incomplete and rather singular.

As far as I know, the admin hasn't (or can't) change any of the server settings or multipliers (highest level wild dino I've seen in the past few weeks is level 30). The server has "ARK Data Downloads Allowed" in the options menu. I don't have access to any of the server files.
