    Does anyone remember that first play through of ARK on The Island? Where you logged on with your brother and immediately put all of your points into a very specific stat? Yeah. I was inspired by Bofuri (I don't want to get hurt, so I'll max out my defense) and I'm not ashamed of that at all. (Okay, maybe a little ashamed).

    Our first multiplayer server had the typical "you're a GIRL?!" reaction, followed by a series of events that involved me tanking hits from attackers while simultaneously holding our stuff. To this day, I wander between servers, and I'm just the one that can't be killed (I've been using the same character for three fucking years). I protect new players just getting on their feet, and I'll always advise them to choose a purpose for their dino and for themselves.

    So yeah. You ever look back and think about how far you've come? And all because you were scared of the death animations because the loud noise spiked your anxiety?
