| Just installed Aberration but it won’t show up Posted: 19 Nov 2020 01:32 AM PST I just downloaded Abberation from Gamepass but it isn't showing up in my list of playable Arks. I have already emptied the cache on my Xbox One to see if that would work but it did not. I'm just trying to play local co-op because I have shit internet. I have not did any updates for Ark because it's over 100 GB. Do I need the stupid update in order to play DLC? [link] [comments]  |

| Black screen when I load the game Posted: 18 Nov 2020 02:02 PM PST Hi :) Whenever I load ark up it will play all of the intro cinematic things (wildcard, unreal engine etc.) and then after the ark A animation the screen goes completely black anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. After that, it lets me start the game as normal, but I can't join any servers or single player. I've restarted my Xbox and my game but nothing seems to be working. I've had this problem before and I don't remember how I solved it, so does anyone know? [link] [comments]  |
| Game Freeze At Server Search Since Yesterday. Posted: 18 Nov 2020 04:12 PM PST Hey, everyone. New to the sub, really need help. I wonder if anyone can help or is even experiencing the same thing. This all started yesterday, which I realize is when the new stuff came to Game Pass. Coincidence? Basically the game keeps freezing when I click Join Ark and a few seconds after it loads a page of servers and then completely freezes with "Searching for sessions..." plastered in the center of the screen. Occasionally when I do this I have the option to move the selection around the peripheral buttons, never the servers, but if I try anything it freezes. At this point, I've downloaded it twice and moved it between my Series X and my One X a couple times on a hard drive as well. Since I hadn't had the issue on the One X last time I played I hoped it would work, but the same issue is happening. Edit: I also have been able to play single player so long as I don't try to open the server list. It's just not as fun without people. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 18 Nov 2020 02:40 PM PST Probably dumb question but is impersonating someones name in game (not a mod or part of Wildcard whatsoever and not their steam name just in game name) allowed? Also the terms and conditions are kinda vague ngl. Can you swear or idk name yourself ´´slave´´ (stuff not directly aimed at anyone and not toooo vulgar) and stuff and not get banned? | Posted: 18 Nov 2020 05:29 AM PST So every time I try to load into a server, official or unofficial, it keeps giving me the notification saying, "Joining Failed, Could Not Retrieve Address" I've tried playing on different internets, uninstalling the game twice, and it still gives me the same message, and I even tried calling Nitrado who said the problem was on my end. Even though i'm 99% sure it is not. If anyone knows a fix to this or can get me in contact with someone who can, that would be amazing. Thank yall. [link] [comments]  |
