| Singleplayer Checkbox - stats multiply with manual settings? Posted: 19 Nov 2020 07:33 AM PST EDIT: Based on /u/Eldridge00 comments about SP checkbox issues, I think I'll keep SP checked and make the following tweaks. BUT, is my logic here for stat boosts correct? - XP setting x1.5, for actual XP x3 (Singleplayer 2*1.5 from my settings) - Difficulty setting = 1 (caps at this offset), check off "Maximum Difficulty" - Taming = 2.4, for actual Taming x6 (Singleplayer 2.5*2.4 from my settings). - Remove Per Stat Level boosts from dinosaurs, because Stat Boosts ARE adjusted for tames with SP checked (see https://ark.gamepedia.com/Single_Player). (I may keep x2 on Weight and Speed though, since those are quite useful with my playstyle). - Keep Per Stat Level boost on character (NOT boosted with SP checked), actual levels TBD (maybe only 1.5 since tames are so boosted already). The Island was too easy with my set up (hardly died, quickly progressed). I want to make Scorched Earth and future expansions more challenging. I understand "Singleplayer" forces Difficulty 0.2, Taming Speed x2.5 and XP x2.0. Does this mean that with my settings XP multipliers at x3, I am actually getting XP x6 with the "Singleplayer" checked? Also, does this mean that, with my settings difficulty set to 5, then with "Singleplayer" checked, I am actually experiencing Difficulty = 2.5? In short, I'm thinking of simply unchecking "Singleplayer" and keeping my modified settings (which currently is Difficulty = 5, 2x everything stat boost related, 8x tame, and further tweaks to day/night and breeding stuff). | Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:38 PM PST I am looking for advice on my world stats. I want something close to default settings but i don't want to spend 9 hours taming a dino. Right now i have weight gain per level at 30.000 and everything else is default except for gather rates, which are set to 20, and it seems like I gather more than my dinos, is there a setting that can fix that cuz it seems weird especially with the "gathering" dinos. | Posted: 18 Nov 2020 11:52 PM PST Hi everyone, My new ps5 is arriving today, so I have a question regarding the transition to the same unofficial server that I play on from my ps4 to ps5 . After I transfer the console data across, is it as simple as loading up and continuing where I left off on ps5, or do I need to do anything else to enable a smooth transfer? Thanks for any help! I'm having a problem with some dinos spawning like on aberration reapers arent spawning and also on scorched earth rexs aren't spawning and possibly Phoenixes too. Please help if you have any ideas.
