    So I went in to Rockwell Gamma with 8 megalasaurus, my drake, my backup drake in a cryo, a 380% shotty and 400 shells. bunched of cooked meat. all my cryos. 2 sets of armor etc.

    I watched syntac beat rockwell and he says in his video, 'sometimes when you beat rockwell you lose all your stuff, it's best to dump it all off on your dino before the cutscene. I watched him do gamma and beta and dump his stuff.

    So I did

    And now I have lost everything.

    And now I'm reading, you lose your dinos not your stuff.

    So I'm looking for guidance from you guys.

    I lost everything when I beat rockwell. bug? or feature?

    Interesting Model for Ark

    So I have played all the DLC maps save Genesis. So if this is already in the works then spare me the rage and let me down gently.

    But I like the idea of helena and the other explorers and rockwell etc. possible spoilers? IDK?

    But the idea of the explorer notes is cheapo. Now i get that the game is geared more towards official pvp. So i understand the choice. And don't get me wrong, I love the freedom it gives you even on PVE and unofficial. I get that the story came way secondary and maybe even the bosses were really just put there as something difficult to do with farming element and levels etc.

    But hear me out. With just a tiny bit more linearity, this game could have been really compelling with the story. If you go to aberration and don't find all the notes and stuff, why are you fighting rockwell? What is this thing. With a few taunts or mandatory cutscenes or intervention from him, you could grow to hate him and want to destroy him etc. It's not explained well what are there guardians or titans or bosses or ascension. I know they attempt to explain in the notes. But with some very slight changes to pve or singleplayer. or just having a campaign based mode, i think the game would come full circle.

    Trust me i get why it's irrelevant on a PVP game. And in that respect i think getting a baller group of dinos and riding around being a pirate is pretty dope. Fair enough.

    I just beat rockwell on ab just cuz thats what it says on the internet. But it would take so little to make it a bit more emersive. I think about my playthrough of Destiny 2. I know there is a big story, but I didn't even know what it all was, I just knew who's butt to kick and what side I was on etc.

    Also, the game is a masterpiece idea. but why does it feel like its been so abandoned?

    Im having a bit of trouble finding dung beetles in primitive+. I've checked in multiple of the usual spots on 2 different maps to no avail. Is this a known issue or am i just seeing a major lack of spawning?

    Are console reports getting auto closed again, like they were a year ago?

    Reporting a tribe for breaking COC but no action has been taken, absolute clear evidence was given, twice now it was just closed pending investigation( 1 week ago )

    or is console enforcement just getting lazy again, tired of cheaters getting their way.

    problem is when one tribe gets away with it, everyone starts doing it.

    Please sort it out.

    I have an unofficial server being run for a group of friends. We are currently using the crystal isles map, but I think it has the 'official' version without many of the dinos.

    How would I go about fixing that to re add the other expac dinos? Things like the rock drake and snow owl etc.

    How To Hide Advanced Engrams

    Evening all,

    My wife and I are trying to run a relatively primitive server without dealing with the nightmare that is Primitive+. Which more or less leaves us with disabling specific engrams to essentially stall our progress out. Specifically, I'm trying to disable electrical and industrial mods so that the highest you can get to is the first shotgun, first pistol, flak armor, etc.

    1. Is there an easier way to do this instead of digging through the .ini and hiding each and every one I don't want to be researchable?
    2. Will this also disable all of the tek items?
    3. Since I am using S+, will I be able to disable the S+ variants of the structures that are also disabled such as metal structures?
    4. And I have some other mods that add in some engrams, will those be able to be kept?

    Any advice is welcome here, I was looking on google and only saw boilerplate guides, and they were mostly for SP or non-dedicated servers. Thanks all

    Tribesman betrayed me

    So for a while I had played almost entirely single player. I've never really done online gaming, and I guess the idea of playing with other humans I don't know intimidated me. Well I had finally decided to make the jump to playing online (pve), and things were going pretty well. I had my base all set up, got a raptor and some other dinos. Another person, apparently pretty new like me, approached me and invited me to their tribe, which I happily accepted.

    It was just the two of us, and we added an alliance with another player. Things were going pretty well I thought. We tamed a sarco, a bronto, a stegosaurus, and some other dinos.

    This is where things take a turn for the worse. I work a lot. Usually just under 60 hours a week. I didn't have a chance to play the last couple days, but after a 14 hour day today, I was looking forward to playing some ark.

    So I log on and immediately notice something is different. I'm unable to access my forge or to open any doors. I noticed that the tribal ownership had been transferred to another tribe entirely, but I am still the personal owner. This doesn't do me any good, because I can't interact with anything. For a second I thought I was trapped in my house, but I climbed up to the top and got out through the already open hatch. I jumped down behind my dino gates and noticed all of my animals were gone. I traveled to the main base of the tribe everything had been transferred to, and they had my dinos as well, and I was similary unable to interact with them.

    My tribesman apparently left the server, and now I basically have to start over from scratch. I'm going to report this in game, but my connection with the server crashed as I was doing so earlier. I just wanted to vent. I'm hoping the other tribe will take pity on me and give me my stuff back.

    My ARK 2 idea before it's announced tomorrow

    So I've had this idea for a while but I wanted to share it before ARK 2 is (probably) announced tomorrow.

    So essentially this idea rides on the colony ship going to the origin of Element. My theory is that Genesis 2 will end with you stepping into the planet below - which is where ARK 2 will take place: this new solar system.

    Essentially instead of ARKs there will be planets. Ice planet, desert planet, water, etc. Obviously a much higher focus on sci-fi and space battles. I'd love to see space combat and the ability to build mobile command centers like star cruisers and fighters. The goal here would be to build a thriving community that can keep opposing clans and the Element-infused wildlife at bay. Having Element corruption as a constant danger could add a unique playstyle to the game. I'd also love to see a more campaign -oriented game play (Like terraria).

    And expansions could be numerous! Moon's, asteroids, deep space. There are a lot of possibilities to take ark into the future while holding true to its roots.
