    I bought Ark on Xbox.. I'd love to download it on my Windows PC (Steam maybe?) Do I have to pay twice? Any tips on how to do this?

    I thought I heard that you can do this and don't have to pay twice. I don't have Windows linked to my Xbox email, I don't necessarily want to link my Windows to my Xbox email account because it's some old unused email.

    Veggie Cakes for Boss Fights?

    So I recently lost a rex team due to the manticore bugging and time running out.

    (Not the first time - isht happens. I'm raising more rexes currently but it's 1X on official so it's gonna be a few days and I want to run the boss fights for element to finish a build. just setting up the question)

    I have a decent group of theris I've been breeding for a while and figure I can use them to run the Val boss fight in the meantime.

    My question is about veggie cakes.

    I've never used theris for bosses and I'm guessing I'm going to need to have them carry veggie cakes.

    How many cakes do I need to have on each theri for the alpha fight and do I really need them if I bring a daedon?

    Basically I'm trying to avoid cooking a ton of cakes if I don't have to since I play solo but I also don't want to wipe when I could have avoided it with cakes.

    My plan is to bring 10 good theris, 1 yuti, 1 daedon, 4 top stat deins and 4 top stat velos in case the manticore bugs on me again so I can shoot him down with velos if necessary.

    I normally run the alpha fight with 12 really good rexes 1 yuti and 1 daedon. Sometimes I throw in a few deins for giggles to bleed the dragon faster. Only losses are a couple of deins normally that get hit hard by the monkey.

    So what's the verdict on cakes and how many do I need per theri?

    Player dedicated transfers

    For backstory, me and my friends have been doing the maps in canonical sequence, and we were at the point to start extinction, we transfer all our Dino's to the island (so I don't have to switch between 4 different servers) and get onto extinction, and everyone's gets their transferred Dino's/items just fine, except for 1, who's whole ark data/creature tab was empty. He didn't lose much, and I did my best to replace what he lost, but have a question. Is this a known bug or a technical issue? Ik it can happen in SP but I've never heard about it on player dedicated servers. Plus he also transferred his Dino's/items just fine on both AB and SE. To help with possible technical issues I will also provide who was playing on what: server- Xbox one X Me- Windows 10 edition (transfers worked) friend 1- Xbox series x (transfer worked) friend 2- Xbox one s (transfer worked) and friend 3- Xbox series s (transfers gone) note all characters downloaded successfully, including friend 3

    Night Time Cycle

    Hi everyone. I've been admin of a private server on Nitrado for a while now, I have it turned onto expert mode but I seem to be missing some settings. I've searched both .ini files, and the general settings and can't seem to find the Night time cycle speed, the day time cycle speed, day length speed, harvest multiplier, and a handful of others. They simply aren't in any of the settings. I've scrolled through each setting, reading each line one by one and they just aren't there. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, or give me some advice on what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    NEED HELP!!!

    so I've done just about everything I've looked it up up and can't find anything, I play ark on the Xbox and took a long break but was trying to get back into it so I reinstalled it but when I get to the menu screen I can't click the join or host options I've restarted the game, my Xbox and have even deleted and reinstalled the game and the issue will not go away, they aren't greyed out or anything it highlights them but when I click absolutely nothing if anyone has any clue what's going on please tell me

    Xbox Series X Tether question ?

    So me & my nephew are playing undedicated server mode and it's great there is no teather but he can see where I am at all times with a distance next to my name is there a way to take that off ?

    Tek Cave & Overseer

    Note: We're not amazing players and don't have enough experience to call us great players as i've only played the island up to this point. (Doing the Arks in order)

    I'm playing on a PvE server with my tribe & getting ready for to finally finish the island. Since its a server i've been wondering if we have to rush or can we take a small breather.

    When entering the Tek cave you have the 1 hour to finish it but do i also have to beat the Overseer in that same hour or can we take a a little break to look around to calm our nerves instead of rushing like mad men?

    We're doing Gamma Tek cave with Full Tek (Excluding Tek Chest piece) with a tek rifle. Gamma-Alpha Megapithecus & brood-mother have been beaten but only gamma dragon.

    Extra details for Overseer fight: Our army consists of 19 rexes with 55K HP & 900-1000% damage with 100 armor saddles. A yuty with 20K HP & 5K stam, unlucky with saddle as we still only have Primitive. Currently grinding for over 500 element for the fight. Will that be enough for the Overseer?
