I get kicked off the server pretty often while playing the mission. I can't find out how to lower my graphics settings, is there anything I can do? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Need help Xbox dedicated server. Posted: 10 Feb 2021 05:45 PM PST So I am very new to Reddit so I apologize if I am not going about this right... but I have been trying to find a solution to a problem for some time now. I have a dedicated Island Server on a separate Xbox one that I bought for this purpose alone. Have been doing this for some time now but took quite the break and just started the server back up just me and 6 buddies Xbox'n on this server. So my question (if anyone reads this and or is willing to give some insight) is my Dino count is steadily going down. We have had all sort of issues with this from day one many moons ago. We kill and kill and the server I guess struggles to repopulate... and spinos are extremely rare if we spend hours de-fishing it might spawn one in but usually will not. We also do regular wild Dino wipes and this works but is annoying and I don't understand why after wiping the island it is teeming with dinos (approximately 30,000) and then after a few days of some killing, taming, dinos vanishing? Etc... the server will get as low as roughly 18,000 dinos but does not go back up. We are also nowhere near the tame limit as I make sure of this. So yeah quite confused on why this happens. We do not have any how do I say"summoned" or "GOD" tames and we just play the game legit... with the exception that I have the loot drop quality slider up a bit... but that's it. Was thinking that maybe the server or Xbox for that matter just simply can't keep up but we don't kill thousands of dinos eeeveryday lol and even when we just all kind of hang out in the server and do basically nothing or people are doing some serious building the numbers do not go up only ever down. Would also like to add we try to be quite careful not to build on certain spawn zones etc... we don't even have that many bases tbh. Anyways any input from the community would be very much appreciated and also if I have not put this in the right place if someone could direct me I would once again much appreciate yes!! Lol thanks! My boyfriend and I wanna buy our own server so we can just privately play with each other, but i am confused. i am seeing that in order to even do that you have to you another console to run the server?
