    Why does my ARK need 275gb free disc space

    so my ark recently hit 300gb so i just uninstalled it... now i want to redownload it but it says i need 275gb of free space! i already unsubscribed everything in the ark workshop and the size doesn't change :O how can i fix this ??

    [edit] i just compressed the files with CompactGUI and its now 280gb total but only 114gb on disk

    Crystal Isles spawns and CI v Valguero

    I am going to be bringing up an ARK server for my friends and I to play on, and I'm deciding which map to use.

    I've found some comments from a number of months back talking about how the Crystal Isles map was often empty in places, with lots of spawn points missing. Has this been rectified yet? Is that map in a high quality play state now?

    I haven't yet played CI or Valguero, so I don't have any experience of either to draw on (I've played The Island, The Center, and Ragnarok). Which map do you prefer, and why?

    Best map for medium sized tribes

    Hi everyone, I play PvP Official and I was wondering what map and location would allow my tribe of 15 to grow larger but also be easy enough to defend. All help is appreciated.

    [Question]Regarding boss dinos

    Private Dedi.
    no singleplayer settings
    Difficulty override 5
    Taming 5x
    Rest configs are default
    Group of 5
    Playing on Rag with access through cluster to theisland too.

    We are starting to look at boss dinos.
    I have done island bosses with rexes in the past in sp but i see many people doing the same bosses with various other dinos like allosaurus, rhinos, deinonychus, mammoths etc and i am confused.

    Should we try something like that or should we stick to rexes, theris,megatheriums?
    If it is doable to do bosses with unconventional dinos, at what stats are we aiming for and what composition?Would we still need daeodon and Yuty for example?

    Game crashes when Gamma King Titan punches my giga army.

    I Think it has to do with having damage numbers on, because the first giga gets rocked to oblivion, THEN the game crashes, so I think that turning damage numbers off might help. So that's what I'm going to try, but I want to put this post out into the ether in case someone has answers, or in the event that this works, needs answers.

    RTX 3070 FPS Issues?

    Hey all! I am running into a strange issue here and was not sure if anyone had some input...

    My Rig:

    I9-10900K

    EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra

    32 GB DDR4 3600 Trident Z Royal

    A490 (Z490? I cant remember I've always ran AMD till now) Tuf Gaming Mobo

    Installed on a 2 TB M.2 as well

    Basically my issue is that I have no idea what my FPS is doing. No matter what settings I change I am sitting at 40 FPS Stable. 4K Max settings? 40 FPS. 240x480 Dog turd looking settings? 40 FPS.

    My 970 could run this at like 70 FPS stable in 1080P

    My 3090 could run this at like 200FPS? in 1440P everything maxed. (I honestly cant remember but it was butter smooth and no issues)

    I have already done the Use all available cores and all that and my GPU usage is sitting at 40% and CPU at like 25% so I know I have to be making some mistake here. Is there some hidden VSync setting that I'm missing and it thinks my 240hz panel is 40? lol

    No idea but I'm out of ideas. Please save me from this lol.
