Posted: 25 Aug 2021 07:41 PM PDT hello! it's been ages since the last time i played ark. since then i forgot all of my graphics settings on how to make my game look good at the same time perform well. how do i fix my graphics settings to make it look sharp? this is my in game settings right now. i only tried to adjust from what i remembered in my memory but from the looks of my game im missing something. this is what in game looks like. as you can see when you look far away every texture has this jagged lines like pixelated even the hands and nearby structures. submitted by /u/TheMovingChaika1 [link] [comments]

Arctic Badger Posted: 25 Aug 2021 10:14 PM PDT Had this thought for a tameable creature that I'd like to see added to the game. It would be a variant of Purlovia that is akin to the Yeti or the Polar Bear. Except tameable under normal conditions... It would only spawn in murder snow (there would be a few more small murder snow areas added to higher elevations on maps that have snowy mountains/glaciers). It would also only be tameable in murder snow. It would be a knock out tame with high torpidity but very fast recovery from torpor. So it takes a lot to knock it and keep it down. Other than that it would tame as one would normally tame a Purlovia (kibble would be extraordinary). It would be larger than a normal Purlovia and rideable (No saddle). It would have a passive effect called Hot Blooded. Which is always active but only visible as an icon to the player when ridden. Hot Blooded has the following effects: Immunity to the slow and stun effects of Snow Owl Freezes and dive bombs, Managarmr Breath, and Ice Wyvern Breath. However it would still take normal damage from the breaths or dive bomb attacks. Cannot be healed with a Snow Owl. Gives rider immunity to murder snow and good insulation from hypothermic damage otherwise. Doesn't do well in warm environments. It takes ticks of damage much like depth pressure in water when it's 70°F/21°C or warmer. Like a normal Purlovia it could be buried. With the added benefits that it's inventory acts as a cryofridge for cryopods put in it and as a refrigerator for any perishables put in it (that could normally be placed in a refrigerator). It would have base stats, leveling, attack range, movement speed etc. Very close to that of a normal Purlovia (maybe just slightly better). It can bite and swipe as primary and secondary attacks. It can also jump (though it's jump is longer than it is high and it takes normal fall damage so it's not great for mountain climbing). It's special attack is the same stun/dismount that a normal Purlovia does with a 10 second cooldown on using it again and a 60 second cooldown for using it twice on the same target. submitted by /u/Helleri [link] [comments]
