    I want to start PvP'ing and grinding again, since I am bored and want to start doing something

    I have good experience with the game, have played the game since Jan 2016 i believe.

    I do not really know all strategies and tactics, but I am quick learner.

    Most fed people from a server owner. The union. Okay so my tribe and I were on the server from the beginning and we were on for almost of the day and a tribe joins starts talking smack what people do, the guys are only on for a few hours at a time like 2 or three and they get boosted this much.

    Disclaimer: we are on a crossark, and extremely built up already. * * We do a lot of breeding and a little pvp. We are looking for a few cool people to be equals (not our henchmen) and help raise dinos, do a bit of farming, and help with base defense etc. Right now it is just me and my buddy.     I’m fairly new to Ark. my friends and I have a modded server going. However, Tameable Tek Dino’s aren’t spawning. Just the ones with timers above them that don’t seem to be tameable. Can someone please help me out here? Really want to have Tek Dino’s in the game that are able to be tamed.

    Question about breeding

    I have read the wiki, I have looked at guides and I feel like I must be doing something wrong.

    I started breeding Argentavis without much of a system. Tamed one male with good melee, one female with good health and stamina. Started breeding both until I got a baby with the best stats combined and kept breeding the babies for mutations. After a few mutations, the mutation counter got to 20/20. So I mated the 20/20 babies with level 1 argies until I got the best stats for males and females with 0 mutations on paternal and maternal sides, respectively.

    Now what I read on guides lead me to believe that if the father have less than 20 mutations on paternal and the mother have less than 20 mutations on maternal, the babies can have mutations, even if the parents have have more than 20 mutations on the other side.

    I have hatched more than 500 eggs from these birds and I'm not getting any more mutations. Now, it could be just poor luck or observation bias, but it seems I was getting a lot of mutations when the parents had less 20 mutations on both sides.

    Was there any changes on the mutations mechanics? Am I missing some information? I would hate to waste so much time breeding birds that can not have mutated babies.

    Ark Server Question

    I just got Ark and I am trying to pick a server, but I had a question first. I was wanting to join an official server as I heard if you join an unofficial one, that server can go down at any time for any reason as it's just being hosted by a regular guy, and I don't want to lose my character and all its progress just because the server goes down. However, can you still adjust the settings on an official server? I had heard it takes an unreasonable amount of time to tame the high level dinos, and I just wanted to change that to be a bit more realistic as I can not just sit for hours andhours feeding berries to a dino on a game as i'm not a robot. Any info would be very much appreciated, thanks.

    Tried out ARK SOFT for the first time today and I actually love the idea. Really sad that the developers don't seem to care about the mode. Also took me ages to find a game since no one plays.

    So i've recently bought my first desktop and was excited to play Ark on better graphics. however, even on the lowest settings i can go, the game still isn't playable. These specs should be enough to run medium settings but Arks barely running at all

    Manas need help

    So im fairly new to the game less than a month in and i love it. I only have one gripe and no idea how to combat it. i keep having encounters with manas who just absolutely destroy my tames and everything. i have put up several plant species so they arent getting my base but they always catch me when im out getting another tame or farming for some resources. How would one defend themselves against players using level 250 plus manas ?

    Help on rendering issue.

    Recently got the GF into playing Ark with me. She isn't big into video games. I currently host a non- dedicated on PC with my gold account and she plays on the home Xbox with her silver account.

    Once we get away from the area we spawn into, I can no longer see resources.. ever. Even if I sit there and wait.

    Is there a command to force reload the area around me?
