| Posted: 01 Jun 2019 02:59 AM PDT Currently the way I stack mutations is breed until I get a male with a health mutation, then breed until I've got say 10 health mutations stacked, rinse and repeat with melee and then combine with health. Would breeding a male that has a mutation in both health and melee be a faster way to stack 'em? Now that I've typed it out it may seem so.. either way, thanks in advance peeps. | Posted: 31 May 2019 07:39 PM PDT I'm now having to see about getting lucky to catch some turds online cuz they blocked the southern artifact cave on my scorched Earth map. Fucking annoying. Artifact caves should not have ORP on the structures. It's griefing and I don't understand why the GM's won't do anything about this. They say it's cuz it's a pvp server. It's like they have no idea how this mechanic even works. How are we supposed to realistically catch people when they only have to log in for a split second to refresh 12 and 15 day timers once within those time frames? It's practically impossible unless you sit there for 15 days staring at the structures non stop. Go get food, bathe, poop, sleep and you missed your chance. At least for artifact caves ORP needs to be disabled. [link] [comments]  | ||

| I've had this game for years. Can it be played solo 100% Posted: 31 May 2019 01:31 PM PDT I bought this game when it first hit early access so I have had it for years. I been playing The Long Dark/Don't Starve recently and been enjoying it. Which made me think "Oh yeah that game Ark". My computer wouldn't play Ark, so when I upgraded it (Again years ago) I could but it was very much based on multiplayer experience so it has just sat there. They have had countless updates since then and I can't find a clear answer. Can I play and do "ok" with this game playing it as a complete solo experience? Most post I found on subject said "join a tribe" but honestly I am on a break from MMORPGs and am enjoying just playing by myself. If I never join a tribe, just stay solo, can I play/enjoy this game? Or is content and such locked behind having to multiplayer experience? I know many like the pvp aspect but I again am glad to be away from PvP so no interest there either. | Posted: 31 May 2019 11:32 AM PDT Paracers on aberration are really strong. The amount of health they have compared to the dps dinos is pretty skewed. It can take several minutes killing one or two racers even with half a dozen megalos, which are the best dps tame by far on ab. Just allowing ravagers to keep their bleed effect would make it a bit easier to kill racers while keeping megalos a necessary tame. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Back after a loooong break since early access... is Ark still being worked on? Posted: 30 May 2019 11:43 PM PDT As the title says, I took a loooong break since.. just after whenever the giga was first introduced, and the only map available was The Island. After 500+ hours put into the game at that point, sub-40 fps, bugs galore and unpolished gameplay mechanics just got the best of me. Now I've been back playing Ark for a month again, and I'm actually loving it! Framerate is stable.. ish. As long as there isn't too many dinos around. Gameplay mechanics are finally somewhat fleshed out, tons of new content to explore, etc. But with all this I still feel like I'm playing an early access buggy mess of a game at times. My tribemates chalk it up to "that's just Ark". But will this ever change? And, now that I've explored alot of the existing DLC's I'm left wondering.. will we ever see more? Are new dinos still being introduced? I haven't really seen any news on the game from later than 5 months ago, which makes me think development is close to finished for ark? Am I assuming correctly?
