| Posted: 19 Sep 2019 12:39 PM PDT How do you deal with raptors? Like I said yesterday, I'm new to the game and playing a single player game. I've gotten to around level 23-24, and ran into a pair of raptors that have followed me around for quite some distance. I managed to get one of them by kiting it to a spino, but the other kills me far too quickly for that now that I don't have pretty much any original gear. They've killed me at least five times across three areas, and they killed my almost brand new ride. I've been TRYING to get my first gear drop, but who knows if it's even still there at this point - the glow doesn't show up for it at all. No, I don't have any attack dinos at this time, and really don't see how I can make them. I don't seem to get much food, I don't have any tranqs, my spoiled meat stash is (I think) gone? I have three bases. The first, a small thatch building, has a few dodos making eggs for me. The second I effectively abandoned; it's just a thatch building. The third is a wood structure; I was upgrading it to a second story when I dinged a while ago, and never finished. The raptor just jumped to the second story and killed me there while I was trying to shoot out with a slingshot, since that was the only weapon I was able to make with what I had in the chest in the building. So, any advice? Other than uninstalling? Oh, I tried multiplayer. Was gathering my first set of stuff, had just gotten to like level 3, and was jumped by another player who beat me to death. Tried a pve-only server, it was so full of random stuff it was impossible to build anywhere reasonable. Ran afoul of a Theri while I was trying to find a place to put a campfire. I like this game, but this level of frustration makes it unfun. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Foundations decayed after 24 hrs Posted: 19 Sep 2019 01:02 AM PDT Tickle Chickens kept spawning in our 'raising garden' so we placed a bunch of foundations around to stop the spawns. The next day they auto decayed (along with one of our oil wells) Has this happened to anyone else before? WTF happened? [link] [comments]  | ||

Is there a good way to know if the theri has a higher melee %? I'm not exactly sure how to explain it. I wanna know because I want a mutated theri army to take on bosses. [link] [comments]  | ||
| One particular section of the map unplayable bug Posted: 19 Sep 2019 09:09 AM PDT Have been playing ark with my GF lately and last week we ran into this situation where the area around our house, about render distance I think, if we go there the game will frame drop, lag, and eventually crash and when we try to rejoin it usually loads in very buggy and crashes. It would take 30+ mins to get in the game and move away from the 'forbidden zone'. The only think I can think that might be related is the fact that as some point we had a set of penguins that we pretty much just let mate out of control, probably 50+ kariku at the peak, until we got tired of them and killed them all. My server is Nitrado hosted, been trouble free otherwise. Has this happened to anyone else? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Wildcards logic is the cause all of cheating Posted: 19 Sep 2019 01:21 AM PDT All these posts, including some posted by myself about x cheating are all more or less probably true, but here's the issue. Wildcards Logic. Loot duped items? WC sees this as well they didn't do it so its fine if they use it. Proof: GG with the ascendant gacha crystals and chocolates + whatever else they got GG with the meks YSS with the meks In all cases they all claim that they looted them, every single one. Duping and saying "prove otherwise" is now the meta. Aimbotters... Does one turn up? In alliances this size its hard to keep an eye on every single person but are the suspect? Well if BE doesn't ban them then surely they are fine. Proof: Spinners have been rampant on both sides lately, but no BE bans so it must be fine. They need to start cracking down. Admin spawned items and crafted with wizards client? WC can't even be arsed to test. Proof: GG - Blueprints they have and the items which are crafted by the magnificent wizard. Other Wizards that have already been banned Actually go and test it WC. You'll soon see. Theirs other shit aswell like meshing, force crashing the server etc Pretty much Wildcard, if it smells like shit, looks like shit and tastes like shit it's not going to be a bunch of lavender. They just need to start dev wiping and putting the fear of the ark gods back into the pvp community....most of the shit is then fixed. | Scorched Earth Manticore Strategy Posted: 19 Sep 2019 02:25 AM PDT We are a group of 6 players, currently on unofficial with official dino stats. We will be attempting Gamma Manticore first, then depending on how it goes, we might jump straight into Alpha. We plan to do Gamma with 10 lvl 200+ Lightning wyverns + Rexes on the platform to protect us from torpor dmg. We will also be bringing MC/ASC shotguns + potentially homing rockets. From what I read the wyverns should melt it, but I was wondering how they would fare on Alpha. Could you please share your strategies for Alpha Manticore? [link] [comments]  | ||

I know how to make higher level kibble so no preach about other dinos either. This is about a bug issue glitch maybe update idk. Trying to find out what happened. I have 15 igu's and 2 of them are males. I have had these for egg laying over three months. I tamed them on TheIsland Map Official Cluster. I moved them to Ragnarok. Since I have moved them to Rag they just stopped laying eggs. Once in a blue moon one egg will drop. The igu was the goto since the kibble update as a fast low level egg layer. No oviraptor needed. What happened? Did WC find out igu's were good egg layers and nerf them? Or is it because I ported them to another map? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 18 Sep 2019 04:13 PM PDT I checked my implant today and to my surprise it said "Beta Broodmother", even though I'm pretty sure I already killed the Alpha a while ago. So I killed it again and took the trophy off one of the tex rexes that I brought with me ... now the implant still says "Beta Broodmother". Wtf? How do I fix this? [link] [comments]  | ||
