| Posted: 12 Feb 2020 12:37 PM PST Hello all, I run a server through Nitrado. We're on Valguero, and we've got a great base built up-- wyverns, rexes, a big glassed-in garden, the works. We're thinking of moving to Ragnarok and starting over for a nice challenge. Will all of our old tames and bases disappear if we do? I know I can change what map my server is on in Nitrado's control panel, but I'm not sure what effect that has on the old map. [link] [comments]  | ||

The candies change dino's colors - do the colors breed true, or is like painting them? Same for dinos that come in red or white or pink - will they stay that color after the event? | Posted: 12 Feb 2020 12:12 PM PST I suggested it before, doing it again, but maybe wildcard could whitelist items from transfer timer that -zero- people are duping. Obviously making it so duping isn't possible and therefor no timer is needed, but in the meantime perhaps things like raw meat, berries, cooked meat, stone, wood, thatch, etc etc could be allowed to be transfered at any time. And likewise, allowing uploads from within the obelisk inventory as well for everything else. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Questions about Dire Wolf's sniff ability Posted: 12 Feb 2020 08:11 AM PST 1) Does their Sniff ability show all players nearby, or just wounded ones. I've seen conflicting things online, some saying they find any survivor in the radius, while others say it only shows players at 50% health and below. It wouldn't make sense to me that it only works when something is below 50% health, bcuz how would it find full health hidden purlovias? 2) does a player get alerted when a dire wolf sniffs them out? If I walk by a base with my parasaur's turret mode active, a detected player gets a notification that they were detected. Does the wolf have a similar mechanic, or is the wolf a stealthier approach? | Chibi exp still broke for me or is it just SE as per usual? Posted: 12 Feb 2020 08:01 AM PST So my chibi is on 324k/500k exp, my dino is not max level and neither am I. I killed an alpha wyvern - no exp. Killed alpha deathworm - no exp, still 324kexp/500k. Are these not coded to give chibi exp since SE has been left in the dust again even though it's a paid DLC? The default "2x" gathering on exp gets busted every time we have an evo event and doesn't scale to 4x as it used to. It's a low spawn map even though free maps like the center, rag and val have high spawns so we're constantly with <100 lvl wyverns in the 5 nests that spawn out of 20. We have carnos, raptors and rexs on SE but neither are alpha spawns for whatever reason. Surely these server settings can be adjusted with minimal effort, I don't understand why they just keep getting swept under. :/ Just feels crappy if you're an SE main. | Rundown of recent playthrough/stream Posted: 12 Feb 2020 04:25 AM PST Following the success of my first ever boss fight - Gamma Broodmother attempt, I took my 18 Theri's, Daedon and Yuty back to the obelisk to try the monkey and dragon. Noob moments to mention: - All my dinos had been sitting in the cryopod since the last boss fight not healing etc. - My Daedon was also sitting on 0 food - Sharing out the few cakes I had, resulted in them being eaten immediately... So I'm sitting at the obelisk with half dead Theri's and a starving pig.. I did a quick meat run in an attempt to heal up the Theri's via the Daedon healing but they really didnt seem to recover much health at all (am I doing something wrong) at no point was the pig at full food which probably affected this. So I go into Gamma Monkey, kite him to the entrance and proceed to kill him with no deaths, perfect! So now I'm reading that the dragon is a lot harder than the other 2 and I'm beginning to second guess giving up in this stream to enable the dinos to recover health...Then at some strange thinking, I just jump straight into the Dragon fight.. Noob moment No.4: - I still had my artifact holding otter on my shoulder I go in, nothing is happening, I whistle all follow and walk forward a bit, still nothing... I then hear wings, turn around and am completely surrounded by Theri's whilst on the Yuty and cannot move. We take out the Ptera's and the Dragon is hurling fireballs at the Theri pile but once I get a shot off at the Dragon, the Theri's attack leaving Yuty, Pig and I following behind. Immediately Theri's start dropping and within a few minutes everyone is dead. I lose everything, my artifacts, all my Theri's, Rare Sighting Daedon (which, I know, I should've bred like you guys told me) and my low level Yuty. Future Plans: So it's not all bad, - I can breed up 18 Theri's relatively quickly, this time I'll leave them out of the pods until full health - Finding another Rare Sighting Daedon will be down to RNGesus - Tame another Yuty (I'm assuming I just need high stamina for this) So all in all, these were my first 3 boss fights I have ever done and managed 2. Beta and Alpha seem very daunting for me right now after the Dragon fail but i'm hoping to get everything done before Genesis. Sorry, for the huge essay but as always, any tips, hints etc are greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

I have a private server and we did a wild dino wipe after the update (I'd already enabled the event, thought it started earlier today) and we're not seeing any of these fish. I actually ended up spawning some in just to verify that they are in fact different than regular ones (they are), and they do in fact have a different name if you're on a server that uses S+ and has the tek transmitter dino search enabled. I'm just wondering if this is anyone else's experience. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 12 Feb 2020 01:18 AM PST Hi- I've been fishing in the same spot (30 lat 72 lon) for a while and I've noticed I've been fishing up a disproportionate amount of the same chibis- three Chibi-Parasaurs and two Chibi-Ankylosaurs. I use a primitive rod with leech blood as bait. Does anyone else have a similar experience fishing valentine Coelocanth, noticing the same chibis from having fished under the same circumstances?
