| Posted: 29 Jun 2020 05:35 AM PDT My friend and I played ark like 4y ago and recently have been going pretty hard the last two months. We started on valguero, got bored pretty late into that and went to rag. Did everything in rag but lost all our gear in caves and went to genesis. Really disappointed in genesis, the end boss was terrible, he can't go in the ocean without crashing so we can't fight the ocean boss. The maps aren't all that fun once you get established, the unique Dino's and a very small percent of the quests are fun. What is a fairly challenging map and or dlc that would be interesting. We own them all. I was thinking abberation could be enough of a change of pace to keep it interesting. We aren't hardcore players, we boost the server a bit but like to keep it fair. I also prefer to disable flyers because as soon as get them we never use land mounts again. Which is by default in ab. Extinction could also be cool. [link] [comments]  | ||

However there was also a major issue with singleplayer saves being wiped. Some time scouring twitter and the internet doesn't mention any fixes for singleplayer. | Posted: 29 Jun 2020 03:47 PM PDT After latest patch we are still experiencing several issues with all 4 of our unofficial servers. All of our resources and items such as anything stackable has been dropped to only 1 item per stack. We can only put 1 meat in our food trough at a time. When harvesting anything we only are able to get 1 of that material. So reference for every creature killed only 1 peice of meat and 1 peice of hide. For every rock harvested we get 1 stone. Also still experiencing crashes periodically not as often as before. 2 of my tribe members have lost their characters completely, 1 prior to the latest patch and 1 today since the "problem was fixed" for the third time. | Building Advice for Ocean Platform Posted: 29 Jun 2020 04:34 PM PDT So I've been experimenting with an ocean platform build and I had a question about the structure integrity. I've built an octagonal shaped building on top of a wooden ocean platform that looks pretty nice. The way I was able to get it built was to place ceilings over the 8x8 hole in the center of the platform and then place a pillar on one of these ceilings near the center of the platform hole and build an octagonal ceiling on top of the initial center pillar. I built the octagonal ceiling out using square and triangle ceilings until the octagon shape was wide enough that I could then attach pillars to the edges of the octagonal ceiling with fence foundations. These edge pillars are far enough out that they actually are attached to the actual ocean platform itself not the ceiling over the center hole like the initial pillar I used to start the octagon ceiling. My question is now that there are pillars supporting the structure around the edges, can I know safely remove some of the center ceilings that are covering the hole in the ocean platform? I removed one near the center and it didn't collapse but I'm afraid to try more. What I'm basically trying to do is open access to part of the center for a water tame parking area with the structure still one top of it. Where there's an opening Near the center of the structure that has open air access to the water in the center. Not at home or I would supply pics. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 29 Jun 2020 03:33 PM PDT So we have a mana that has a bunch of mutations on both sides, we tamed a fresh female mana and we have been breeding them all week but for some reason we are only ever birthing males. We are beggining to think that there may be some bug or game feature that is just plainly not giving us a female, or we are just plain unlucky. Has anyone ever had this issue??
