    Crystal Island Caves

    Hi guys quick question/discussion. I just set up a bunch of stuff for a server of CI (getting back into the game) but I just found out that there are no challenging caves!? Can anyone confirm if this is the case as of 2021 dec.?

    If so, are there any other maps that's are as huge with the DLCs combined? I remember rag being pretty good but If i remember correctly there's only scorched earth and vanilla dinos. Thanks for the help!

    My biggest regret

    After playing for about a week, my biggest regret so far is not capturing a very beautiful blue and purple pteranodon. I could've used it as a breeder. It was by far the best looking dino in the whole game. Most pteranodons have crappy colors.

    Want to download the ark for Lost Island, how much GB I'm looking at ?

    So I've played loooots of ark back then, got a new laptop and I've been wanting to play ark on it. How much of a storage is it going to take for base game + new Map only ? Maybe with some lightweight mods on the side.

    Transfers

    Dont you find the transfers on official kind of unfair? As someone who is trying to setup. Getting killed and raided by a lvl 450 mana every day isnt very fun and i dont think new players find it fun either. Like even if you get defenses up they come with a tank and raid you anyway. the kill your tames and then dont loot or anything.

    Astrocetus 100% taming effectiveness?

    I'm sure this question is asked all the time but can't seem to find anything recent. Is there a way currently to get 100% taming effectiveness on one of this big boys? Just watched the nooblets videos and every time he would perfectly knock it out, the taming effectiveness still went down like crazy. Has anyone found out how to avoid that? Or has it been fixed yet?

    Saw someone say mutton is better than kibble, this true? Also saw someone say using a snow owl to heal a rock elemental gives 100%, has anyone tried this with the astrocetus? Im looking to tame my first whale but wanna make sure I do it right.

    Any tips for finding Gigantosauras?

    I've been trying to find this thing for 2 weeks now and no luck. I play on the island map and know its spawn locations are on the peaks. I've also been killing all the dinos in each peak to free up its spawn. I do see the quetzal fly by some peaks sometimes. Would killing the quetzal help with the giga spawn? Also wondering what's a good amount time to wait in between peak searching. Is checking every ark day too soon? Would appreciate any insight into this and or any tips in general. Also for context I play on ps4.

    Yo, are you guys ever going to truly fix this game. due to roll backs in the last week i have lost 5 max level dinos and now my lvl 105 character which was the tribe leader of my tribe. this is absolutely insane. To get my toon back i need the Date, My level and a screenshot of my character. why in gods name would i have a screenshot of my character? I am unable to imprint on my rex's. to even join my tribe i have to wait until my wife can get online after the holidays to add my fresh made lvl 1 i lost all of my tek grams. i mean merry Christmas to me right WC?
