| 2080ti I9700k Freezing/Crashing question Posted: 23 Mar 2019 09:13 AM PDT Hey guys, I recently rented a server to get back into ark with some friends. I have upgraded my pc since the last time I played and have unfortunately run into a lot of nasty crashes and freezing. The only info I can find on the matter was from back in mid to late 2018 and it doesn't seem like it was ever resolved. | Posted: 23 Mar 2019 09:31 AM PDT I havent followed the updates for a while, so when I found out you could tame Piranhas and Coels, I was really excited. So i load up Island and search for the engram. Nothing. Turns out its an Abberation only item. RIP. It wouldnt be a problem if i actually LIKED abberation. Had it on xbox and didnt really enjoy it as a map. Using forcetame just feels like cheating, and I dont wanna do that. So sad that such a cool item is locked to a dlc. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Extinction Titans are the worse thing to happen to this game. Posted: 23 Mar 2019 10:16 AM PDT You can't even build on outside of a cave anymore. Titans will wipe you regardless. They just need to be removed from the game or stop them from being able to be tamable. If you want titans to be spawned and killed for loot cool but the ability to tame them then wipe any base desired is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 22 Mar 2019 05:07 PM PDT Which of OSD, Gacha Crystals, Earthquake loot, Enforcer and Scout blueprints, Titan trophy crates, Alpha and big dino's loot and other item sources are affected by the SupplyCrateLootQualityMultiplier parameter? Did someone test it? A slight increase of that value shifts the distribution of good quality loot so you could get something powerful enough looting way less containers. As I don't play for considerable periods of time and prefer calm, non-grindy gameplay experience it is one of the options I changed for my worlds. The answers might be helpful for somebody who has similar play style or just wants to know a little bit more on the matter. [link] [comments]  | ||

| recommended taming order for each type of material? Posted: 22 Mar 2019 07:10 PM PDT I haven't played in about a year so I don't know any changes/newer dinosaurs I remember there being a recommended (easiest) tame order you should tame dinos for each type of material. For example if you wanted berries and just starting you should start with a parasaur and then a trike and then a brontosaurus. This is just a basic order with dinos that are very common and easy to tame. [link] [comments]  | ||
