    Are tree platforms good in PVP?

    I'm thinking about making a tree base, but I was worried it might not be worth it. It seems like you have to dedicate alot of turrets to protecting the bottom of your base. Should I just stay on the ground?

    Idea of a Reset character button for certain situations.

    Okay, so let's say you're a decent level, say level 75-90 and you need to choose a place to respawn. You pick your location to spawn in, and fortunately you land inside an enemy players structures. Since there is no way to actually get out (Since you're naked and have full health with no equipment, or if you do have stuff which can't break metal/stone.), you'll be stuck there for a long time.

    But what if there was a way to Bypass this waiting time?

    Here's a concept I came up with:

    A New "Reset" button in the action wheel.

    • Must hold button for 5 seconds, and if the player is hit it resets the timer.

    • Action will kill the player instantly if they can pull it off.

    • Successfully pressing this button will play an animation sequence in which the survivor will forcefully pull out their specimen implant, collapse and slowly dissolve (Similar to the Ascension cinematic)

    • When the animation is finished playing, the player will be took back to the respawn menu and given a 15 Second respawn timer.

    • This action cannot be done while Handcuffed or Injured.

    • This action cannot be done when in mid-air.

    • If the player has items while doing this, they will keep them to prevent unfair item loss.

    Just a little idea to counter getting stuck in places like spawn blocks and mesh troubles, let me know what you guys think, it'd be really helpful imo.

    Quick question regarding Smalltribes and Cryopods

    Do cryopods work the same way in smalltribes as they do in official? I ask because I read that dino trading was disabled, and it seems the cryopods could easily circumvent this. So, I'm wondering if the pods will still give me other tribe's dinos if I raid them and visa versa.

    Thanks in advanced! Just switched to smalltribes today and am trying to figure out the differences!

    My friend and I are playing Ark together. He doesn't want to play on a PvE server because there are random little buildings everywhere.

    Meanwhile on a PvP server big daddy comes to mushroom stamp any players at least twice a day. How is this fair? How is this fun? I'm getting ready to quit after 90 hours of this horse shit.

    How do you play and learn the game when high level players just run around insta killing low level players?

    Bad FPS/MS in singleplayer

    well, i have issue with FPS/MS on SP game -

    ​

    Yesterday i just played, everything was right, was playing around 60 fps/10ms and now when i launch ark i am playing around 40 fps/ 20 ms on every setting, doesn't matter if it's ultra settings or ultra low settings..There's no difference, still the same fps/ms on SP.. MP is even worse.. Never had such problems before. How i can have bad MS in single player?

    Gtx 1060

    16GB RAM kit

    Intel optane memory

    I just don't get it.. why the game is so laggy, it's barely playable..
