| It's been 3 years. Can we get a fix to the D3D device lost issue for Nvidia users? Posted: 29 Jul 2019 08:08 AM PDT I just started playing less than a week ago. Every day of this game is the same--at some point during my session, I will crash to desktop once every 2 minutes, 20 minutes, or 2 hours, randomly. The error is "D3D device was lost", and a quick google search shows that folks have been having this problem for years. I've tried nearly every work around. | Add Wind Indicator to Valguero? Posted: 29 Jul 2019 05:00 AM PDT Valguero seems to have wind in a select few locations but they can be hard to locate without a wind indicator. Not to mention all the wind turbines you find in drops. It funny to watch all the trees sway in the wind (Valguero has a ton of trees) and then place a wind turbine and watch it never spin. I feel not having wind sort of kills the immersion given the trees are clearly swaying in the wind. Also maybe add lighting and storms, I haven't really seen any it if they exist. We play on the xbox version on valguero with the settings adjusted to make the game a lot more manageable. | Wildcard fails to see the consequences of their apathy Posted: 28 Jul 2019 08:23 PM PDT We've all seen the proof of meshing and duplicating and some, like myself have been, and still are falling victim to tribes who use exploits to give themselves an edge in the pvp field. What we've seen is a lot of words and purely that. The transfer block was great, and really that should go back up as whilst duplicating may be fixed, the fallout from it is far too severe. Currently I'm fighting a tribe who have been throwing high level blueprinted meks (all the same level and colour too) away at our turrets and propped up full tek bases (not fobs) and unlimited spam and tek teleporters on our maps. This is from a tribe that struggled to get tek turrets to now having more tek than those of us who have been on the server up to a year longer than them. The sad thing is this is not a lone case, and all over official there are tribes who actively look to exploit the game and ruin the experience for those who have put time into it. I for one can't pitch into this experience as it continues this way and so I've deleted the game (hopefully for the time being). But I'm in the slim (microscopical) hope that maybe u/wildcardced may actually read this, and wouldn't mind having a discussion here as to what players feel wildcard could do more to protect their playerbase while they act on exploiters. But if you'd like to see my basic opinion: 1) close off transfers to all maps - this will stop tribes traveling across servers (if duping is still possible it will stop all the methods I've found out this past week [if you'd like the methods message me u/wildcardced ] ) and would protect against tribes who are hiding duplicated loot off their main server) 2) increase the team looking into tickets, weve submitted tickets for the past 3 weeks and only just received an automated ticket for one of them this weekend 3) look into forums & when you see someone has posted evidence against a tribe/player that seems almost indisputable, follow it through by giving the server a brief visit and see if it meets your standards in determining guilt and set it to a fast track. 4) be more open - yes this can be open ended, but currently we only hear routinely from u/wildcardced and while that feels better than what we've been hearing previously, it wouldn't do much harm to read a paragraph or two from the departments or teams who are working on specific elements such as fixing exploits, the new beta, new dlc/tlc etc etc 5) ask us more about how we feel on key issues, pitch us for ideas more, rather than leaving us in the cold speculating. I know it probably makes a harsh read, and I don't want to come off as a 'stroppy ark player who needs to get gud at the game' (as told to me by the people throwing 20 same stat/same level meks today) but I want ark to succeed. I play this game to escape all the s*# in a boring or bad day, but currently the act of PLAYING this game is becoming far harder/harsher than it's actually worth. [link] [comments]  | ||

Since it steals a random food item, the odds are very much against it stealing whatever is valuable, and it'll just get raw meat. [link] [comments]  | ||

It's this a glitch? I have 1 already spawned, and a new one spawns when we enter the arena.... Is this a normal thing? Will killwilddinos kill the one already spawned before going in? This is on a private server, and I had one teammate escape my the last battle and it recalculated the players and spawned a 10,but I died and thought it despawned, yet now we have 2 when going back.
