Dino that needs some TLC - the Bronto Posted: 19 Nov 2019 02:20 AM PST The Bronto is one of the most awe-inspiring beasts on Ark. When you see your first one as a low level n00b they shake you around with their mere footsteps. They're big, they're powerful, and they are majestic af. They are also glitchy as all hell. The number of front leg glitches I've seen with Brontos just walking around is embarrassing. Their elbows go up like they're dancing a jig. They deserve a new model, and perhaps a stronger secondary attack. The ones outside my base keep getting torn apart by the T-rexes who come through occasionally and it's a bummer. submitted by /u/IdiotsLantern [link] [comments]

Certain stuff needs a TLC - Manticore, breeding, dino gates Posted: 19 Nov 2019 03:58 AM PST Manticore - Should have a set landing interval. I've seen players lose the boss fights because it won't land at all or just lands for a second. Dino Gates - Need to open away from the user every time. I know you can place them to open a certain direction, but always opening away would be a nice TLC. Breeding - Some creatures need to be breedable ((cough cough insects cough)) as well as have the mutation system and family tree fixed and be working as intended. Hi, do we know if Genesis will be a prequel to the canon story (Island -> Scorched Earth -> Aberration -> Extinction), or on the contrary a sequel to Extinction ? I'm sorry if the answer is obvious, I already bought the Genesis season pass but I didn't really follow the news about it. I ask this because I wonder if I should "prepare" a character (leveled up and ascended) for Genesis release on January, or if we'll start with a brand new character. Posted: 19 Nov 2019 09:18 AM PST Not talking about imprints, imprints would be staying, combining stats from tamed dinos would still work, just no mutations. Mutations have destroyed the balance of this game. They need to be greatly reduced, or removed altogether. It would rebalance everything, even non breedable tames would be viable for pvp. People wouldnt have to place a shit ton of spam to lag the servers because paracers wouldnt be able to dance around 100 tek turrets anymore. To do those hard purple drops youd actually need titans. Any ideas for gathering eggs in solo pvp? Posted: 19 Nov 2019 07:52 AM PST I'd like to start making kibble for taming, but I'm not sure the best way to gather eggs. I have a female argent that I keep in my base when not in use, but I've yet to see an egg from it in the week plus that I've had it; presumably they drop and then disappear when I'm not logged on. The only idea I've been able to come up with is this: in researching the cryopod, I saw something that says the mating timer keeps ticking even when they're cryo'd. My thought is get a breeding pair of dinos, keep them cryo'd, deploy them every few days to mate, then gather/use the fertilized egg. StructureSaver2 Should Be Official :D Posted: 19 Nov 2019 07:38 AM PST I wish StructureSaver2 was part of official, it be so sweet to build something offline and then come to the game and just put it up without having to build it a second time.
