Oh lord Posted: 21 Dec 2019 08:29 AM PST So I just started extinction a few hours ago (singleplayer) and I finally put a saddle on a pt . And started flying to a location I seen in a YouTube video that's good for a base ( cords 9,29 ) and as soon I as get closer to the area and I'm still in this heated desert where your stomach is using more food or whatever and oh my god next thing I know 3 corrupted wyverns and 2 corrupt gigas along with god knows how many corrupted rexs etc ... and I'm sitting here chilling finally hit level 38 and in my cloth armor trying to find where to build basically my first real house on the map, and not to mention earlier on I seen 2 corrupted reaper Kings ... is it really like that out here lol submitted by /u/chronicbased [link] [comments]

Any interest in a more primitive server with feudal territories? Posted: 21 Dec 2019 08:13 AM PST A few buddies and I were thinking of starting a server limited to stone structures and only things you could make in a smithy, nothing greater. We also wanted to remove or severely limit the number of mythical creatures and keep things limited to standard dinos to keep gameplay more grounded and realistic. You should still shit you pants when stumbling onto a rex in the wild and not just melt it with your pack of managarmrs. The map would be split into 6 territories made up whichever tribes wanted to play in each one, with a leading tribe controlling the politics of each region (selling the rights to gather resources or take creatures on their land to other territories, declaring war on other territories, protecting lesser tribes residing in their territories from repeated raiders). We actually wrote a handbook of decent length structuring the laws of this feudal gameplay to ensure no alpha tribes would be able to abuse other players, yet still have the fun and power of being an alpha tribe. Is there even any interest in something like that, we're thinking about Ragnarok for the size, just mythically stripped or severely limited. submitted by /u/ARKFeudal [link] [comments]
