    Albertosaurus pueregem is a tyrannosaurid relatively small compared to its relatives on the island. (Think Allo sized) Make no mistake however, a mob of these fearsome brutes should strike fear into the hearts of any survivor.

    Wild: Albertosaurus is rather... peculiar. Despite hunting in groups, they don't really possess a hierarchy of any kind. Indeed, even the young, in combat, are considered equals to the older, more experience members. Make no mistake however, the bonds among the mob are strong. The death of one will enrage the rest, at which point they seemingly become numb to pain and empowered to kill those who threaten the pack.

    Domesticated: Juvenile Albertosaurus take well to combat and rather than run away, rush at the chance to be of value, even at the risk of it's own life. In contrast, while nothing to laugh at, adults are often slow, though they tend to fair better in combat. However, when adult and child work together, they complement themselves nicely, with adults speeding up, seemingly to set a good example for their younger pack members, who are in turn emboldened, increasing their damage and resistance. Additionally, although morally questionable, I've seen survivors, in the heat of combat, deliberately kill their own albertosaurus in order to enrage the rest of the pack as, even in a blind rage, they still listen to orders.

    Note: The idea I wanted to go with was a dino who was disposable, yet high end. It's why I wanted to encourage the use of juveniles and the "tactical killing" of members to strengthen the pack. With that in mind, I do see how this could be pretty heavily abused so I mean don't take this as a serious suggestion.

    Singleplayer - Tames Lost Under Map, How do I wipe just a few of my tames?

    I play singleplayer with limited boosts, most of them just to respect my time. I live on Aberration and had 2 rock drakes and my only reaper which I lost. I know for certain the one was lost under the map (was trying to get back from the surface too quickly and zoomed through the terrain).

    The other two were lost in similar ways. I pulled a green one and ran out of stam on my drake in the red zone. Ended up in the element water with cnidaria on it. I swim a very short distance off, look back, and it's just gone. I toss out my pocket reaper to look for it, same thing happens.

    I've tried whistles, searching extremely broadly, zooming under the map, and even toggling their names back on. They are nowhere in the area at all. No kill notification and my tame numbers are the same. So I assume they're under the map.

    How do I destroy these 3 tames without destroying the other ones that I have? I will not be giving myself new ones.

    Hey guys,

    normally I do just ceilings on a wall, place dinos on the edge of the ceiling. They pop out some eggs, the eggs fall down, I can collect them easily.

    But since some time, the eggs always get stuck in the air. Even if they drop to the ground, I cant collect them. There isnt any option to pick them up.

    I tried to replace the ceilings with ramps and with slopeds. Place the dinos on the edge, so the egg fall down. Same result, eggs got stuck in the air:

    Did something changed? What is your design for a good kibble farm? Is there some design, so I can easily collect the eggs from the ground?

    Edit: Whats interesting, feces fall down completly normal on the ground and are easily collectable

    How do you find good servers? tips to find good servers

    How do people find good clusters and servers, is there something i have to look for in the names, or is there a site i can go to or what? the server i have played on for a while has closed down and i just now figured out i dont know how to find a server.

    Story mode ark.

    How would you feel if there was an actual story mode to ark? I've been reading thru all the explorer notes and it got me thinking. What if there was a story mode where you could play thru Helena, Mei Yin, or Gaius? Or even Rockwell? And have it similar to an actual RPG. Each character has different pros and cons based on what is cannon via the notes. For example, Helena can be labeled as the 'all around/beginner' character slightly reduced Engram point requirements and material requirements for most basic crafting stuff -weaponry, the ability to immersive-tame most creatures (based on the immersive taming mod), reduced cold temperature tolerance, and a few others.

    Mei-yin would have increased damage, reduced materials and Engram point requirements for aromor and weaponry(only up to primitive ranged weapons like crossbows), reduced resistance to damage from Dino's, and others

    And Gaius would have increased charisma towards NPCs (with the ability to gather them into his 'tribe/army for following and giving orders/commands) reduced crafting cost and Engram point cost for structures up to stone, and others..

    This is all just spitballed in my head and notebook from the last 2-3 days of thinking about it. Each character would be starting in a different place than the others (well mostly I think) and would have their own 'story' to follow. I think it would be really neat. Introducing other characters later on either as playable or even just as NPCs you interact with.. and after unlocking all of them/finishing the game, have one final unlock and play through as Rockwell (but idk if that would even be possible tbh)

    Genesis Controller Fight Mechanics

    For someone who's completed the fight on Gamma. My tribe and I have been struggling to get through it for a while now. We know stats and killing enemies isn't an issue and getting to the 4th phase is easy now. However I'm looking for some clarity with the eye beams. I've only ever seen his eye beam hit roughly the center of the platform in a line. Is it possible to avoid the dismount laser entirely if sticking to the edge of the platform? Or does he actually change where he lasers? I know that being under a bridge protects against it but we found that we got swarmed too hard sitting in one spot. Primarily using mounted ferox and hit and run tactics to get through the fights.

    My story of getting back into ARK

    Yesterday my girlfriend and I decided to play ARK again like in the good old days. We joined an unofficial server. We built a base in aberration. We need oil so I went to the island and farmed a bunch on my karkinos. When going back to aberration with all the oil on me and the karkinos cryod I very carefully make sure that I spawn in a bed in our house. FATAL ERROR. When starting up the game, I have instead spawned on the wrong side of the map. On my way back to the base my karkinos get float locked by two 165+ wild rock drakes. There is no escape. i die, and so does the karkinos. I manage to get my stuff back. We need manas so we go to extinction. After an hour of trying we downed a mana to realize they can't be tamed on this server. Oh well. We go back. i figure we need crystal and electronics. I tamed and argy on the island so I take that to extinction to farm light posts for crystal and electronics. I farm for a bit. Server is calm, only one other online. SWOOOSH. Level 230 griffin guy eats me and my tames. Ahhh.. ARK. Good bye!

    I run a small server with friends. We are using the upgrade station mod, but when you use it to upgrade items it increases their quality. It also typically caps out at 700% damage. This player on my server has an inventory full of weapons that are at 755.3% but are all labelled as primitive weapons. I'm not sure how this would happen, but I'm not an expert. Please see the screenshot in the link below. Thanks.

    Edit: I just went to another of the tribe members. It appears that this player also has some weapons at 755.3% damage that are of "primitive" quality. The interesting thing is that some of the items have it listed above their icon and some don't. And it's not consistent with the other player either. On top of that, this player is wearing highly upgraded riot gear that is labelled primitive, with the exception of the gloves which are ascendant quality.

    Best way to kill rock element on turret mode?
