| Framerate issue suddenly, game worked fine a day or two ago Posted: 08 Nov 2020 08:27 AM PST So I play modded ark with my friends, I have never had any issue with lag and I play with high-epic settings. It just now, for some reason, all started lagging for me. My friend with a worse pc than me plays on high settings right now when we play and he gets around 70 fps, I on the other hand, has a better pc, plays on low settings - still gets 40-50 frames, and fps drops causes it to go all the way down to 20 fps. Basically, I could usually run ark at high-epic settings and now when I run it at low and followed every fps boost tutorial on youtube it runs at 40 fps no matter what I do. I have tried already tried reinstalling mods since I thought that was the issue (I play with mods). Oh and I have not set a FPS limit either. I tried reinstalling the game. Validating game files aswell. My game looks shit now after a tutorial I followed and I still run at 50 fps, also freezing sometimes. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Wyvern Nerf just killed cryo'd wyverns Posted: 08 Nov 2020 01:55 AM PST So not sure if this is happening on official but on my SP game ALL my vanilla wyverns are now raptor icons and no longer able to be thrown out, i heard they got a -25% health nerf due to the new breeding so not sure if this is what caused it but my zombie wyverns also glitched out as well, either cryo'd completely vanishing, they turned into vanilla wyverns or also raptor icons... i tested with a backup save and upon loading in again i had even less zombie wyverns in my player inventory than before and i made this backup just before loading in after updating. I have 600 hours in ARK own all dlc but the genesis pack and play on a very good unofficial PVPVE with good PVP raids decent fights and people who are fair sports and not Aholes excluding the Aberration section those are a breed of their own. I Was hoping to find some players to join me this season on the cluster preferably around my level as I am a good breeder, grinder, tamer and all in all rounded to everything but I'm not a rusher I play the game at a decent speed but it's not my life goal to get max tek within the 1st 24 hours of joining +Wyverns otherwise I'm behind and everyone is already beating me. | Water Caves significantly harder now? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 07:28 PM PST Went to the harder water cave on the Island after the update and had my basilosaurus with ~20k health and 95 armor saddle get absolutely shredded crazy fast. Did the ocean just get vastly more dangerous now with the pack bonus and bleed attacks on the megalodons? Might have to actually build my own swarm of them now. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 08 Nov 2020 01:11 AM PST Ok, so the actual model change looks pretty good. I like the lumbering sprint it has, but the way the legs jiggle when walking make it look like its twitching like mad. Then the plates. Functionally, they're pretty good, and I like the flattened configuration, but the colors are ridiculous. Why not just keep the pattern, but have the colors be the same as when its dismounted? And why not keep the configuration when dismounted as well? [link] [comments]  |
