Patch v329.7 Posted: 05 Jun 2021 02:54 AM PDT Disabled TEK Punch from doing damage on Genesis Part 2 Added a server config bool for Unofficial Servers to allow them to disable the GEN2 TEK Suit on spawn: bDisableDefaultMapItemSets=True (Game.ini) Fixed multiple server crashes/hang Fixed a bug where players would be unintentionally killed on the Hoversail Fixed a bug where you could use mission canoes as beds Fixed a bug where players could join servers and go over the slot count Yes! Bugged Levels After Genesis 2 Launch Posted: 05 Jun 2021 11:12 AM PDT I play unofficial and after the Genesis Part 2 update, my level cap is only 125 maxed out. Before, I had my character to level 150 maxed out. I don't see any posts about this issue and am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or has a fix for it. A little disappointed by the Void Wyrm Posted: 05 Jun 2021 08:51 AM PDT They said it wasn't just a tek wyvern, but its just a tek wyvern. It would have been cool if they gave it multiple types of breath attack that it could switch between, and made it easier to aim those attacks (maybe something similar to how the velonasaur works) and maybe a better turret mode. submitted by /u/EternalPain791 [link] [comments]

Genesis 2: Great Time, Bugs Galore Posted: 05 Jun 2021 12:52 AM PDT Had a blast playing Gen 2 for the first time, and it's easily the most fun I've had in Ark in a very long time. That being said, we ran into a few major issues that I was wondering if anyone else came across: - The Hover Sail Race is nearly, if not fully, impossible to complete on Alpha. Tricks do not add +3 Seconds even though you get the prompt. - The Canoe Race is impossible. The Canoe will not go over the Water Fall, and will get stuck just like a raft. - Survive The Ark has terrain mesh errors that cause you to sink into the ground and get stuck. - Green Rock Spires on the Asteroids have no clipping - A few of the boost circles in the Maewing race do not work, making Alpha very difficult. -Most Non-Race missions seem impossible to complete solo without Ascendant gear. (inb4 'get gud') ​ These issues, espeically the mission ones, were pretty frustrating, but Gen 2 is easily my favorite DLC. I'm primarily a PvE player so the changes and additions made for QoL and such are just fantastic, and long overdue. (LOOT DROPS ARE FINALLY GOOD) submitted by /u/TheGhosticus [link] [comments]
