    Was on my way to get a Thyla, and one jumps out of a tree, knocks me off my Argy, then it and a Carno use me as a fleshlight. My Argy lands, and since it's on passive it gets merc'ed as well. Sometimes this game.

    Tribe raided us and took ownership of our dinos

    When I logged off last night we had our dinos in the base, half cryo'd and half not, when I logged I. Today the tribe who raided us had taken ownership of our dinos, and I can't find any info on how they did because it says that it's not allowed, can someone help me out

    Why does Ark have such a large game file?

    I've been uninstalling a lot of games just to free up space for Ark. So my question is. Why does this game have such a large game file compared to most games? I'm finding it really difficult to manage it on my PC because of the massive storage it takes up, but I want to play it more on PC then on Console.

    ARK would really benefit from a 'minimize to tray' feature.

    Why?

    Tons of 'dead' time in the game:

    Almost every mechanic in the game is limited by some kind of cooldown (smelting, crafting, cryosickness, transfer timers, breeding, etc to name a few)

    Resource intensive game:

    It's just not possible for some people to just alt tab and play a League of Legends match or any other game while waiting for some cooldown in ARK, so a lot of times the best option is probably to just completely close the game.

    Long loading times:

    Your only two options right now are either you keep ARK open while waiting for something or you close it and then you will have to wait for all the game files to load, which still takes some time to load even on an SSD.

    Other games use this feature:

    Example: Black Desert Online

    The ARK logo would look nice on the system tray

    Really no downsides

    QoL change that would make everyone happy

    Easy to implement, technology already exists within the game:

    There's a ton of ways of going around this feature, but basically you need two things happening:

    A way to reduce /limit resource consumption(Example: Reducing the FPS to 1-2, changing the resolution to a minimal value)

    Minimizing the window and putting it on the taskbar tray

    We already have the code in the game to change resolution (game settings) and to limit fps (t.maxfps console command) so all the devs would have to do is create a button that executes these two things and then minimizes the window to tray.

    It's that easy!

    I'm a little lost and i'm looking for help here, what should be the mains stats on a mutated Astrodelphis. Do the Astrodelphis Melee affect laser dmg? Is there any hidden stats from other stats like oxygen, weight, stamina? Thank you very much for you answer :)

    Is there a mod or setting to allow Quetzals infinite weight?

    I'm playing on a personal server with some friends and we wanted to build a huge base on a quetzal, but I feel like that would make the quetzal have a ton of weight on it and it'd either get encumbered or super slow. Are there any mods like this?

    Ark genesis part 2 reaper queen not spawning?

    I'm huntin me a reaper.

    Are the reaper queens super rare? Or is something buggy.

    Been at it for a few days now and i haven't seen a single reaper queen. Only reaper kings spawning.

    (I am aware of location i am simply stumped as to why i haven't gotten a single one.)

    Private server, 0.8 difficulty offset.

    Lvl 130+ xp grinding

    What are the best methods for xp grinding at high levels?

    I have been breeding/killing many gigas, but even that feels slow now. I just killed about 200 high level gigas, with an explorer note and broth of enlightenment active and that got me from lvl 131 to 133.

    I just got my chibi to lvl 5 and thought thats it, but you can gain another 1 mio xp .. is that only to fill up the lvl 5 bar and then that´s it? or is there a reason to lvl the chibi past 5?

    Levelling past 130

    Some of our group are now pushing up to the 130 mark on characters. The jump from 131 to 132 and up is huge going to up 10 million a level. The equivalent of levels 1 to 124 each time.Any tips on how best to level after this point?
