But why wouldn't they make the loot crates a bit better.
I need help deciding base game + season pass or base game + all expansion packs. What's the difference? Only cosmetics? ($6 difference) OR do I just buy the bundle? I don't know anything about the game pls help buying for SO

The amount of subtle or unintuitive mechanics in this game is off the charts, particularly for newer players like myself. I've been mucking around here for a week or so and even see people with 1,000+hrs playtime who still learn things from people's comments and posts here. Who else might want to shamelessly steal the "Tips 'n Tricks Tuesday" thread concept from 7 Days to Die sub (where I recently came from)?

I'll get it started with a couple that helped me a lot which I came across yesterday:

-You can access your mount's inventory by pressing F while mounted.

-The setting "allow clipping" lets your structures collide with terrain, making building on uneven ground much easier.

But, after being absolutely obliterated and losing literally everything, to a level 6 spino, I understand now.

I am a new player and I was so happy today to tame my very first parasaur ever!… until it was brutally chomped to pieces right in front of me by this measly level 6 spino, not even 30 minutes in to having it. Haha, it's ok… i'm alright... ಥ‿ಥ
