| What creature was I murded by? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 07:04 AM PST I'm new to the game and started out on the southern side of the Island. Found myself a tek para and two dilos and had just hunted down another para and started the taming process when I was attacked. It was a big bear like creature, but with longer front legs and perhaps as tall as two people. That was followed up by an Iguanodon that joined the fray. I can't find anything about the creature in the gamepedia article about the South Islets, but it would be nice to know what it was so I know how to handle it the next time I come across it. | Dangers for Ptera in Extinction? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 05:11 AM PST Hey, I'm thinking about taking my Ptera to Extinction, but I have never played it before, and even though my Ptera is Level 238, Extinction has that sinister feeling to it. :P What dangers should I be aware of when flying around in Extinction? Is Managarmr a considerable threat, and how spread/rare are they? (I think my Ptera would be alright with Snow Owls) Also, will I be able to solo Blue/Easy OSDs? (That's a main reason I need to go to Extinction, I need Cryopods for my PvP tactics) I have a 200% Pike, 160% Crossbow, and Flak-Riot combination adding up to 1560 Armor, and my Ptera. My Ptera's fighting-related stats if you need, 2000 Health, 600 Stamina, and 385% Melee. Thank you for any help you can provide :) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 20 Jan 2019 10:38 AM PST So, with Extinction making element easier to get, it is no longer uncommon to find a base with Tek Turrets. However, I came to the realization that Trikes do not soak over 4 walls high (with turrets on medium) and Stegos and Gasbags can not soak anything at all. So I went to SinglePlayer to test this a bit and saw the Rock Golem could soak just fine but gets completely destroyed by them. So, aside from boxed Paracers and Brontos, are there really no other viable soakers for Tek Turrets? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Breeding issue, same level, 1 has better stats Posted: 20 Jan 2019 08:20 AM PST We are playing on a private server with some higher speeds and a 201 wild dino cap. Since the latest dlc and the addition to tek rexes we got our hands on some (after taming) 360 tek rexes (240 pre-tame). No we are breeding them to improve the stats but we seemed to hit a cap at 375. We have 2 dinos both 375, exact same stats while 1 has a lot higher damage (all without leveling). Posted: 19 Jan 2019 11:53 PM PST How to stop a managarmr ice breathe Ark official Pvp glitch Leaving the mana alone and letting him be all powerfull, while still providing some savety to our velos and be able to prevent manas from perma freezing your door/Tp is huge! Kinda dickk move to let us figure it out our self and not announcing it in the patchnotes tho. /s off I hope the leash bug stays till Manas are nerfed even if unintended its a huge improvement and with people beeing able to snipe from a base/fob again und finaly using my beloved theriz again this game just improves so much for me. Posted: 20 Jan 2019 02:03 AM PST Gigas dont have the best melee around 260(can get them to 310 though with cryopod and levels) but they will have 92 armor on 1 and 102+ armor on another. | new to pvp and need some advice Posted: 19 Jan 2019 09:47 PM PST I am on a small private server with a group of friends. we have two tribes and the admin is not affiliated with either tribe. since im new to the game my roommate has let me use her base. today a member of the other tribe launched a guerilla attack on that base, they destroyed a bunch of structures and killed my character. i want payback. i am not looking for anything that would start a tribe war just really good pranks. can anyone give me advice on that?
