| Posted: 27 Feb 2019 03:20 AM PST Seriously, I don't know how they even got this on the market... this is a $60 "game". Don't get me wrong I didn't invision it being amazing after playing it both on xbox and PC, still I really enjoyed playing ark and have hundreds of hours on both. The switch however, well it is actually unplayable in SINGLE PLAYER. Graphics are horrendous even docked, still I saw that coming. The game is crashing nearly every 45min though and then still rolling back to your last save. Which unless you are changing in game settings or killing yourself often can be a major pain in the ass. Then on top of that you spend another 5min adjusting the settings before reloading because it doesn't save. Uninstalled after 2 days to make room for well an actual game because this isn't even passable. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Any plans for Solo, Duo or Mini (3 man) Tribe Official Servers? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 07:36 AM PST Would be sick natty if we could get some of those servers going. Solo would be especially fun because it would bring a whole new challenge and reward dynamic, especially to things like bosses. Small tribes was a lot of fun, but even then, 2-3 guys, which I find is a common tribe size, cannot FAIRLY compete with 6 full time players. For as big and complex of a game as ark is, it should have more options in ways to play it IMO. Most people HATE playing conventional FPS or battle royale games shorthanded, so why in the world would we want to play shorthanded in a game where there is infinitely more time investment at stake. | Why are Megalodons still the raptors of the sea? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 09:18 AM PST Megalodon is considered to be the biggest carnivirous creature that ever lived under water reaching lengths up to 60 feet. Many believe it to be bigger than Mosasaurus. Yet if you line it up against a mosasaur it looks ridiciously small. Mosasaur is like the T-Rex of the sea and Megalodon is the raptor it seems and i find it unfair and disrespecful. Megalodons are everywhere as well, WC can you make it rare like the Mosasaur please. | Breeding - Baby hatch with 2 mutations? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 09:02 AM PST So my question...I have my full clean max stat females with my 1 melee mutation right now. I understand everything about breeding except what do I do when this happens- Say a baby male hatches with my melee stat mutated but also has another stat, health, mutated too...making the baby 2 levels higher and now has 2 mutations on it. Should I keep this new male and start trying for two mutation bumps every hatch or should I kill it and keep this melee mutation line pure? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 27 Feb 2019 06:56 AM PST Hey guys, I've recently noticed a pretty significant issue with the torches (wall and standing) from the [Structures Plus](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731604991) PC mod, in which the automatic on/off feature doesn't seem to work. Even though I get the prompt to shut off the torch, there is no light, heat, or fire animation coming from the object at all. [See screenshot.](https://imgur.com/a/j3tOR8u) I brought this up in the mod discussions, but haven't received any feedback yet. And because steam doesn't allow searching for discussions within a specific mod, I'm having trouble going through the existing reports. So far I haven't found any reference to this issue. | Recommended Values For Doing Caves and Bosses on Island. Posted: 27 Feb 2019 07:38 AM PST Got into Ark again recently after a long time and opened a PVE server for me mates and I. We know little of the caves and Bosses of Ark until a random joined and told us our 1.5x Xp/gather rates were far too low and we would spend months trying to do caves/bosses. I left the difficulty at default which is 0.2 which seemed challenging enough with level 30 carnos/raptors running around. I'm told you're supposed to increase difficulty so there are level 120+ dinos running around?! We were playing Ark as more of a survival game than actually doing the story, which we didn't know about. After hearing about it, now we are interested in maybe playing the story, any advice on things to learn like breeding or fighting Alphas? Any advice at all is helpful, nothing too small. | Posted: 27 Feb 2019 02:59 AM PST I am experiencing tons of lag and rubber banding. Im in the EU and have joined a NA server with some friends on PS4 Legacy, but I find the lag, frame rate drop and rubber banding to simply be too much. Do you guys think the game will be better if i switch to an EU server, or is this just how Ext is? Did i unwittingly get used to unpopulated servers and am now experiencing the regular population lag? Whatchu tink? Tell me whatta do!! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Can we please not double the crops required for new kibble recipes? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 08:27 PM PST The new kibble recipes are already very tedious with the extra ingredients (some of which include actual food recipes). For example even the most basic kibble now require two rockarrot. It's annoying enough having to go to my crop plot, and double click each time to avoid transferring all the crops. What's the point of making us do this twice now for every single kibble? It doesn't add any challenge or any meaningful grind. It's just tedious and time consuming. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:57 PM PST When a stat is changed or when new character levels are added the devs sometimes force all players back to level 1 while retaining their experience points. I am on a private server and the owner wants to remove some engrams, but anyone who already knows them will retain them unless they use a mindwipe. Is there an admin command or something that the server owner can use to reset the character levels while retaining everything else? [link] [comments]  | ||
