| Posted: 25 Mar 2019 08:01 AM PDT I know there is the Ark Stats Extractor / Smart Breeding tool, but that's only for Windows and I'm on console (not by choice, it's just what my brothers play on). On top of that I usually have my Mac or my phone next to me to look things up, not my gaming PC in the other room. Up till now, I've had an elaborate Google Sheets with fancy conditional formatting, etc for tracking all my tames/babies and their stats. But is there any other web tooling out there for this? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 07:51 AM PDT Since Atlas is damn near dead now, the 'GOAT' breaking no records except the ability to die, will we see any of the more interesting aspects of the game move over to ARK? The building materials for example, wouldnt mind having the ability to deck out my base with the reinforced wood floors and tables and such. I remember them saying 'aspects of atlas will be shared with ark' but besides some very basic additions from S+, i've seen nothing from atlas at all. And yes im aware of the players who got the admin access and did a bunch of exploits on atlas, but what do you expect when you use ARK from a year or so ago as your base to make a game. You literally had the ability to start fresh with a brand new clean copy of the engine and work up from that. Nah, lets use ark, the engine is so perfect amirite guys? :p [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 25 Mar 2019 04:00 AM PDT I play SP and in trying to play around with SupplyCrateLootQualityMultiplier in the hopes of being able to find more ascendant blueprints. But yesterday while running the swamp cave i got a 611% fabricated shotgun and a 533% fabricated pistol blueprint which seems a bit op, so im wondering how exactly this setting actually works. | Structure (metal specifically) painting mod? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 11:40 AM PDT Hi folks - I'm new here (but not to the game) and am excited to read everyone's posts. I learned some stuff already as I've been reading for the past half hour or so seeing if my question had already been answered and getting a feel for the sub. Normally I lurk for awhile, but I'm too impatient for this issue to wait a couple of weeks first! I hope you'll forgive my haste. I ended up here when I started searching to see if there is a mod for painting metal structures. My husband and I (well, mostly him, heh. He builds, I gather, lol) were putting the final touches on a taming cage in extinction and the colors I wanted were very light. (It was in the cold biome). I wanted sky blue and white, to kind of "match" the ice flow we had built on. Well, as you can imagine, it looked terrible because of the rust that is on the metal. And when painting it with light colors, the rust shows right through as if it hadn't been painted. I mean my husband warned me, but I, of course, had to see it for myself. ;) (My husband is very patient with me, lol.) So, I was wondering if there is a painting mod that can paint over the rust on the metal? You know, like what paint actually does? We have our own server to run Ark on to play with family and close friends. He did the official servers for awhile (and I tried), but that's just not for me. I started playing with him when we could choose who we could play with, heh. Hell is other people. ;) Except for you all. You guys are lovely! (I'm just being snarky. The official servers were not a great experience for me. The Alpha tribes were filled with their own greatness; holy cow the arrogance, geesh) and then the day came when the whole server was annihilated from some other tribe that zoned in. Because they could. I despise people being jerks because they can. No. Thank. You. I'll be happy on my little family server thankyouverymuch. lol) Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts or knowledge about a mod that can help me out, I'd be grateful! We actually just started using mods a few months ago, lol. Hubby didn't want to have things that could be game breaking every time the game updated. (Too many years of playing WoW & then Minecraft, lol). But now that we have S+, the world of modding has opened! :D Thank y'all so much! Looking for a good flyable dino that's easy to obtain and good for early game scouting, and a land dino that's good as both a defender, as well as carying wood, stone etc etc. Just an average fly and average ground dino to start out with. | Hugely Important ARK Quality Of Life Feature for mod users on pc!!! Posted: 25 Mar 2019 10:01 AM PDT I've had this idea for a while now but never knew how to express it till now. Alright so, imagine you had a super modded Abberation world but then wanted to play on Extinction without mods. Currently, the only way to do this is to deselect all the mods you have then play but that is very inefficient for many reasons. For instance, if you had a high priority mod that needed to be on top of the mods list. You would always have to remember to put it back in the right order or risk corrupting your world (losing items). A fix to this problem would be allowing the player to make different profiles in the mod menu in the game on pc. That way you could make one profile with all you're mods, one with some mods and one with zero mods for a vanilla playthrough. Or at least give us a button that inactivates and reactivates all mods. This may seem like a small thing but it really is substantial and will improve peoples modded pc ARK lives all over. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 25 Mar 2019 09:43 AM PDT I want to do a run through of the desert cave on Extinction and harvest the mantis/rubble golems with a chainsaw to see how much I get, but most of the dinos I know that a strong enough and can fit will auto harvest. Posted: 25 Mar 2019 09:20 AM PDT Here we go , one more week without any official answer regarding the faulty machines that hosts official servers 211, 210 etc.. Is it so difficult, to schedule maintenance or monitoring with your server provider ? The technical team is made off a single person ? ( @lilpanda ? ), if it is ... poor him and shame on Wildcard . I want to play the game I payed ... me and all the others, that have the server on the damn faulty machine ... 211 is unplayable, again random crashes , server missing and multiple lags and freezes, this is happening already 3 weeks ... | Mods on Microsoft store version? Ark|PC| Posted: 25 Mar 2019 04:39 AM PDT I downloaded Ark through the Windows 10 store, since it was free with game pass. But I would like to be able to add some of these cool mods that are on steam. Also I thought I can add games to steam library even if their not purchased from steam. Would this be possible? I'd just buy it on Steam but don't want to loose all my single player progress and I like being able to play my same map on console and PC. If I look slightly above the horizon that's it can't see anything most of my screen is just white it's quite annoying. Is there a way to fix it? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Invisible Sabertooths after breeding? Posted: 25 Mar 2019 02:25 AM PDT Our Sabertooth have no problem dropping babies that we can see/feed/raise as usual but when they become adults they turn invisible. We can see the names where they should be but can't interact with them, call them, name them etc... This isn't happening with any other dinos that we're breeding (Rexes, Direwolves). It doesn't happen with wild tamed Sabers, just the raised ones. This is a PVE unofficial (ours) server. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Blatant Cheating on Arkpocalypse Official PvP Cluster Posted: 24 Mar 2019 01:22 PM PDT So the 30-day Official PvP cluster just reset and we already found a Chinese tribe with Heavy Turrets and a Rock Drake on The NA Aberration server. Unfortunately the mods here told me I can't post screenshots but /u/WildcardValor can easily go confirm for himself. Please ban these guys and maybe even reset the cluster while it's still fresh. If they kept items/tames/levels/whatever on Aberration than I'm sure they're cheating on other maps too My concern is that if even 5 hours go by people will say that they had plenty of time to level to 100 and tame a rock drake. It's simply impossible to raise a rock drake within 2 hours of the reset though. [link] [comments]  |
