- I found this beautiful bird. By far my favorite new tame. It's sadly a low level. Put all my settings on ultra for a few seconds so it would look better.

Ark: Pokemon Evolved Challenge Posted: 20 Apr 2019 06:01 AM PDT Ark: Pokemon Evolved ChallengeGoal:The goal of this challenge is to implement a series of player enforced rules, that add a Pokemon-like progression system to the game. The rules will lock the player to their starting zone. To progress to the next zone, the player must tame all dinos that are available within the boundaries of the current zone. By progressing through the map the user will unlock new creatures to tame, and new resources to harvest. I will be streaming the challenge on my twitch channel. You should come and say hi. Vocabulary:
Before you begin:
Rules:
Completing the challenge:
Optional Rules:
Understanding Zones:Zones are the different areas that make up the map. Each zone has its own set of creatures, and resources. The player can use the web (ark.gamepedia.com) to find a list of all available creatures and resources on that zone. Visiting this page is also good to view the zone boundary and adjacent zones. To do this, scroll down the page until you find the map, and hover your mouse over a zone. The zone will have a red highlight that defines its boundary. Clicking on the highlight will take you to the zone's details page. Near the edge of the zones, the list of available creature varies the zones published list (ark.gamepedia.com). Creatures from adjacent zones will spawn within a zone they are not native to, or wander into it by accident. These tames are fair game as long as they are within the players current, or previous zone. Taming these creatures is not a requirement to proceed to the next zone. Using Console CommandsThe challenge is about taming. I see no problem in using console commands to build aesthetically pleasing structures to showcase your trophies. These kinds of structures are costly in resources. Spawn commands to build structures in each zone to showcase your work is fine. The challenge must avoid using console commands to tame, or spawn dinos or to give the character weapons, armor or ammo that will help taming. The only exception to this is spawning in cryo pods since they are required from the beginning. The player may spawn and keep unlimited cryo pods but can only carry six in the party. Mounts and shoulder pets count for this limit. The player may use "destroywilddinos" command to clear and refresh all spawn points. This is particularly useful in single player as spawns can take a long time to appear and being offline stops the cool-down timer on these spawns. However, using "kill" command to save the character or a dino is not ok. This would remove the element of unpredictability from the game. Giving the character or any dino experience is also not allowed. Tips:

Tribe membership lost after transfer. Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:32 AM PDT Hjelp. Me and my wife had a tribe on Extinction server. Private unoffical. We Did a transfer to Island server, also Private unoffical. Now I needed to return to Extinction and I dont belong to our tribe anymore. I cant use our dinos or access our base / containers. I thought that tribe membership stays on server? I am an server admin on both servers so I could just force ownership but still, too much hassle if this have to be done every time I transfer server. Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:03 AM PDT So I decided to start from scratch on the island single player, just as I was taming a pterano a spino comes in and just destroys everything in my base and kills my tames. I just walked back there and he won't go away, how can I get him away so I can recover my stuff? [link] [comments] | ||
