Official PvP DEV Challenge. Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:52 AM PDT So the games been out for a while, and every once in a while i see the "do the devs even play their own game?" So WC. Say for a week. Create a special pvp transferable server where you could you create your own base. You are devs so i hope you are creative here. Once open anyone could transfer/grief you. Maybe there could be some sort of a prize that you wouldnt popcorn and we could get special skins/trophies/special limites ascension. It would be remembered i think and be publicity. (If you are getting undermeshed though you cant report or ban anyone, you gotta just suck it up like the rest of us and deal with it somehow.) Fertile Lake Redwood Tree Teleports me to Grave of the Lost Posted: 20 Apr 2019 10:19 AM PDT So I have been playing aberration with a buddy on a private server recently and encountered this last night. I was climbing up a redwood tree in the fertile lake region to collect tree sap, and on my way down I glitched into the tree, then next thing I knew I was falling down in the center of the map, and ending up dying in the grave of the lost. When I clipped into the tree it basically teleported my character to 6000 6000 30000. Has anyone else had this issue or has it been reported? I tested to see if it could be redone and it can be, I was able to cause it to happen twice more in the same spot on the same tree. submitted by /u/QuirkyTurtleGaming [link] [comments]

PP raiding Posted: 20 Apr 2019 11:04 AM PDT Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out the best way to raid on PP pvp. The alpha of the server keeps wiping us so we can't keep tames for long but could grab a couple before a raid if need be since taming is boosted. Their base is mostly plant x and turret rock elementals. I've found oil jugs and stickies Bombs to be unreliable because more than half the time the jug doesn't hit or it is shot out of the air. I was thinking flame arrows for sniping plant x and then barrels of gun powder for brick walls. Any advice on how else I could do this? Also, do flame arrows damage plants and by how much and do better bows do more damage? Any tips are helpful. Sorry for so many questions. Right now, there are a bunch of features such as: Hub to view tribe events (New since my last update) Dino baby timers and estimates of how long the remaining food will last Dino map Phone notifications for baby dinos and deaths Wild dino heat map View dino inventories and stats Search all tribe inventories for items Here's some screenshots! https://imgur.com/a/uI3flkn https://imgur.com/a/chf75UQ I'd love to hear any suggestions for what else I should add. Release is still pretty far out because I'd like to fix bugs and improve the very ugly interface. There's also a (very early in development) Android app. I'm excited! Server owners need to download a companion program right now, but I'm trying to find a way around that. I'd love to talk about the development too. Questions about changing beaver dam drops Posted: 20 Apr 2019 05:53 AM PDT Is there a way to just add specific things to drops and beaver dams/giant dams? I was trying to add the different abberant mushrooms and gems to the different beaver dams, and take out the wood if possible. I was also trying to add in different saddle blueprints to the drop tables so we could get different map saddles on our map. losing item during inventory transfer Posted: 19 Apr 2019 10:15 PM PDT I'm not sure how did this even get to happen, but its definitely something to do with the devs attempting to curb duping. ​ it seems ark's inventory transfer is coded in this manner: when event is triggered, push data into array delete data from source insert array into destination ​ while this method isn't wrong and does work under perfect conditions, during a lag spike or when application is busy things gets lost in memory ​ what ark should have been coded in is: when event is triggered, push data into array insert array into destination check if array and destination data matches. if it didn't happen, repeat set flag for data in source to "deleted" check if data in source are set to "deleted", if it didn't, repeat clear all flag set to delete when server reboots. ​ while we're talking about data, a curious question: when was the last time indexing was done on the server? submitted by /u/hiimzech [link] [comments]

Theriz breeding stats Posted: 19 Apr 2019 02:45 PM PDT MY SITUATION: I'm on official PVE, starting to get into my theri line, i have breeding/mutations completely down, don't need help with that, currently hatching with 8.6k HP, 419% melee (level 309, I have seeked out all high stats for pure vanity reasons). MY QUESTION: Is this even a good starting point for my line? Or should I seek higher HP/Mel before starting to mutate them.
