| An Entire Cryofridge lost all its dinos Posted: 16 May 2019 12:52 AM PDT I took a short break from ark only to return and find out some of the mods were wiped, which included my stacked gasoline, so i was out of power. I re-powered up and came on later in the evening and found that my cryofridge lost all of its dinos, only empty pods were there. At first I thought their timer ran out, but I noticed I had wyvern eggs powered by the same generator that weren't even close to spoiling. Any insight? I ended up losing my entire megalo breeding stock, among other dinos. It was a punch in the gut and another tally to my counter of "losses due to stupid bullshit" [link] [comments]  | ||
| Why are platform bases not even fixed? Posted: 16 May 2019 01:52 AM PDT We're currently building a new big base on an official server so we use a bronto platform base to log out in to keep us safe. Any time I log back in I'm not even able to exit the damn thing because it's in the middle of bugging out where the structures aren't even attached to the bronto. | Increasing the costs of explosives to balance offline/ noob raiding Posted: 16 May 2019 04:18 AM PDT Offline raiding is a huge problem in ark. Especially for lower levelled/ newer players. You can't walk across an area without seeing destroyed bases everywhere, most of them built by noobs with nothing of value to offer the raiders. I believe that an increase to the cost of explosives will hopefully balance this and make people reconsider just flying around the map blowing up every base in sight. It's a bit unfair that you can craft up explosives in no time at all and ruin hours upon hours of work for no effort at all. I'm not saying this for my personal benefit or anything I just want servers to stay full. Games more fun that way. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 15 May 2019 03:01 PM PDT I am currently playing extinction(single player) and cannot find how to unlock whip, glide suit etc. . Is there a way to unlock other map engrams without having to go on that map. Also how do i get tech engrams if there is no boss fight to obtain them from. Posted: 15 May 2019 08:50 PM PDT The last time I made a tek Bridge I was able to just aim the other end of the bridge to wherever I wanted to place it. Now I seem to only be getting a snap point as far away as possible on a horizontal plane with no determination of where the bridge stops. Am I doing somethig wrong? | Ark freezing PC on SP settings Posted: 15 May 2019 12:26 PM PDT After a long time of playing on official servers I decided to try a bit of SP, just to encounter a complete freeze everytime I try to start a game there. I'm not clicking start game, just scrolling in the settings to change them, then it freeze and force me to do an hard shutdown. I can play the game pretty well otherwise, just some crashes sometimes, but freezing my whole pc on a setting screen is something new to me. Someone can help me gettin around this bug? UPDATE: seems it's not only SP, but all the menu inside the game. Even options. This started right after the new patch 269.101. This never happened before. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Weight characters need nerfing Posted: 15 May 2019 07:18 PM PDT They've been absolutely disgusting since the mindwipe changes. In situations like water pvp or chokepoints where you can't snipe there isn't any counter-play. Even goddamn gasbags and desert titans get encumbered. Edit: Re-reading I realized i never mentioned my issue is with overweighting dinos in pvp by grappling them. No problems with the weight stat itself. [link] [comments]  |
