    a novice question about breeding colours into a line?

    I'm pretty new to breeding. I finally managed to get all the stats into one animal for the first time ever. I now wanted to start breeding a specific colour into the max stat animal (rex)

    I guess my question is, when trying to achieve this, do I have to start again as far as getting all the stats go or are you literally waiting for the RNG God to give you all the best stats onto the baby and hoping it also has that colour you want? but is that even possible for a baby to have all the stats from only one parent? or do I basically just take the first baby with that colour and then I have to rebuild all the stats again? sorry I'm just confused on how to breed colours into a line

    My official experience

    Absolutely amazing.

    I went from building wooden houses on the beach, then jungle. Sailed the seas transporting metal with a raft for hours cause i thought it was the shit.

    Traveled from alpha tribe to alpha tribe, sometimes joining the people who wiped us to avoid starting with nothing due to good attitude during the wars.

    Gone from from megatribe to megatribe meeting new friends or following old ones sometimes family :P

    Official is as awesome for me as it ever was because ive taken the time to meet people and in doing so can get the necessary help to make a tribe, and be built in a good location.

    You get a good group together and almost any big tribe is willing to help you get setup so you can be valuable.

    Ive seen what wipe does in this game, nearly destroys it. Brings back a bunch of old players who are willing to play till they are wiped or insided. Just like before, they do not stay or come back.

    The grind is nothing, they way its setup, if you reach endgame, you can farm as much metal and poly as you want on ab, dont even need a base, just a transmitter.

    Can get as much crystal as you can dream up on the center, just need transmitter and or teleporters.

    Can get as much element as you want on extinction. Just need to have the balls to make a replicator and throw it down anywhere and use a terminal to transfer off.

    I have a group of 7 people on official pvp and we do what ever we want all the time and can make anything because if we get wiped, a couple tames from a friend and its all back on a x2 weekend.

    If you have a legit group of friends with 24h coverage, let me know and ill see if i can help you. Im not a mega tribe. Im a freakn bob.

    Gacha Crystals...Owl Pellet

    Just tamed me some Gachas and I'd like to get them to boost my item collection. I also have a snow owl and placed the pellet into the Gachas inventory but nothing is happening. Did wildcard nerf the Gachas and Owl Pellet strat? If so, what's the best material to put in them in order to get decent crystals? Also, do I have to place stone and metal as some sort of "fuel" as well and have the pellets in their inventory?

    What are some tips on learning how to play ark again?

    Hello everyone I'm a returning player to ark and I've pretty much forgotten everything. Does anyone know any good videos, websites, discords, or apps I can use to familiarize myself with ark again? After playing official pvp for a week I realized that I really don't know what I'm doing anymore as I have died many, many times. Would unofficial servers be better to play on than official? Also would anyone want to play ark later, I'm still looking for some friends to tribe up with.

    Do charge turrets consume battery or gas first?

    I've been looking all over for an answer to this and I don't have the time or experience to test this for myself.
    If you have a turret (or any other electrical device) running off a generator and then you put a battery inside it, will it continue using gas from the gen, or will it start using charge from the battery?
    Also, vice versa, if you put a battery into a turret and then place an outlet nearby will it continue using charge or will it switch over to being powered by the generator?
    I'm honestly surprised no one seems to have asked this question before..

    Where to look for higher quality Rex saddle bps?

    I did find a few suggestions when I was looking for answers but they might be outdated so I ask here to maybe get good answers, recently I was in The Island Swamp cave for a few runs but no luck, nor with deep sea loot crates on Scorched Earth (all in singleplayer) Turning up the loot scale is an another idea but don't want to go too far with it, also fishing?

    The Island might be too tough.... Solo

    I was doing some research in preparation for taking on The Island bosses and realized that it may just be to difficult for solo. I know that some of the bosses will be fine and mainly lava and falling Dino's will be the main issue but it's alot of work and time to lose everything, but that's Ark for ya.

    What do you think? Any suggestions?

    that's moby. moby is a d*** to rafts. so I went around with a primitive log to lure him closer and ate his face with a giga. took about an hour...but its fun to derail from ark chores every once in a while

    but I'm curious to find out how far into the sea can predator vision go? have anyone of us tried looking for a squid or mosa? how about dunkleo?
