Valguero/Win10 Dedicated save file FIX *Working* Posted: 24 Jul 2019 08:34 PM PDT For Those who host a dedicated windows 10 play anywhere server for Valguero and have their servers wipe everytime they are reset. Follow these steps. Find your map folder. Windows dafault is : C: > Users > "Yourusernamehere" > AppData > Local > Packages > StudioWildcard"Stringofnumbershere" > LocalState > Saved > Maps > Valguero_P > Valguero_PSavedArks COPY FILE!!! Copy the file Valguero_P.ark and PASTE the file to your desktop. DO NOT rename UNLESS it is ending in ".tmp" IF IT IS NAMED ".tmp" then rename the end of the file to ".ark" RUN ARK on windows. select host. DO NOT START SERVER. you should be at the server settings page. COPY FILE AGAIN. copy the .ark file FROM YOUR DESKTOP to the saved maps folder you found earlier. I recommend adding that folder to your taskbar for quick access, Go back to Ark, and start your server. THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP. Every time you shut down your server, copy that .ark file to your desktop. That file is your saved map. It is your buildings, it is your dino's. It is everything except your levels. When you want to restart your server, always re-copy that updated file from your desktop to your saved maps folder. And always do so AFTER selecting Host, but BEFORE starting your server. Base render distance Xbox One x vs Xbox question Posted: 24 Jul 2019 03:55 PM PDT I upgraded to an Xbox One X a while ago from the original Xbox One and noticed that bases would render in at a closer distance than on the old Xbox to clarify I would have to get closer to a base for it to render.
