My Chests and foundations dissapeared Posted: 07 Aug 2019 05:40 AM PDT Hey so i have had around 40 hours on this single player campaign on Ragnarok and i just relogged after being offline for around 10 hours and my S+ Storage chests and foundations completely dissapeared. Theres no way a wild dino could do the damage it did and we had spikes outside the castle we made too. Our Tamed dinos are still alive thankfully however i don't know how to revert this or fix it or to prevent this glitch either. First Broodmother attempt & results Posted: 07 Aug 2019 02:47 AM PDT Last night the 2 tribes on our unofficial server successfully beat Gamma + Beta broodmother back to back. Our setup: 16 Therizinos (3 riders) 15kHP 400+ melee 2-3 Veggie cakes each 1 ridden Yuty 2 ridden Megatheriums All primitive saddles ​ Gamma fight Ended after around 1.5-2 mins All dinos received approximately 2-4% damage No dino used a cake. We basically shredded her. ​ Beta Fight Ended after around 3 minutes 1 Therizino died (the one with worst stats) Rest of the dinos around 50% hp left. 1 Therizino with blue saddle was at around 75% HP left All cakes were consumed. This was a reality check that better saddles are needed. ​ Strategy: Bring 1 cantine + meat. That's it. Mind the hot temperature and avoid Chitin or Flak armor. Let megatheriums go first. Whistle all therizinos to attack boss. Never dismount. ​ Hope this could shed some light on people starting out with bosses. submitted by /u/madkimchi [link] [comments]

Recommended Cluster Specs Posted: 07 Aug 2019 10:11 AM PDT I'm thinking of rolling my own for a 4 map cluster. Specifically I'm thinking of using one of the top tier NUCs for this purpose. Would this be enough of a machine to handle this, assuming maxed RAM etc. If not, what would you recommend as a box for self hosting at your residence? Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:05 AM PDT My game is updated again but I'm seeing three different types of fatal errors, two of which I've never seen before and just about every server I join leads to a connection time out within 5 minutes. Its obviously between overseer, Rockwell and king titan I haven't fought them all yet but from what I've seen I'd say 1.rockwell, 2. King titan 3. Perplexing pin code predicament Posted: 06 Aug 2019 03:18 PM PDT Some backstory: I moderate on a pve server. In charge of community activities. I run a bounty system with dermis collecting. Recently I have implemented a bounty box system, where I placed a small storage box near each tribes base. They put their dermises in it then I make my rounds when I'm on and exchange them for server currency. The storage boxes are individually pin coded for each specific tribe. The problem, is that the pin codes have a common tendency to stop working. Now I have tribe leaders messaging me "erm...we can't get into our bounty box anymore." I can reset the pin to the exact same pin, and it will work....until it doesn't....again. Anyone else experience this or know whats up? Thanx. submitted by /u/Spydrmunki [link] [comments]

Wild and tamed dino glow effects - want to remove! Posted: 07 Aug 2019 12:42 AM PDT I'm not talking about alphas or aberrants, i'm talking specifically about the pack leader buff and the trikes having glowing red stuff on their faces etc. These particle effects are ugly and horrible and obnoxious. Is there any way to disable or remove them? The actual status effects are fine, i don't care about them, i just don't want the stupid glow on dino's faces etc. I only knew the wild ones were status effects because i have a fancy spyglass that shows me all that info. Me at night: "Wtf is that glowing red thing? Oh it's just a trike's face with some crap on it." Me with new dinos: "Yay i got a couple deinonychus!
