    Xbox One Ark Disc Does not Work

    This is actually my friend that's having this issue, but he does not have a reddit account so I am posting for him (if anyone needs any other details I can ask him).

    My friend has recently started playing Xbox again, and used to play Ark all the time back in the day. He mostly plays two games: GTA and Ark, of which he has both on disc (I always tell him to buy digital but he never listens). I would be posting this to the Xbox reddit, but his GTA disc works perfectly fine (and some other discs for games he never plays). At first we thought it was an issue with the disc, so he went out and bought a brand new out of the packaging disc (trust me he got yelled at a lot for buying another disc). The only thing is that the problem persisted, Ark simply would not work.

    The specific details he told me are the following:

    When he puts the disc in, the icon on the home screen gets that little symbol in the upper right that indicates the disc is in, except when he clicked on it, he got a message saying the disc was scratched or damaged. He then tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it but when he put the disc in to install it, he never got the option to. This is when he went out and bought the new disc, however when he puts the disc in now, the same issue happens and he cannot install it. I was face timing him as he was doing it and watched him open the package, put the disc straight from the package into the Xbox, and nothing happen. He went to his games and apps to see if it was in the queue or ready to install, but it wasn't. I honestly have never had this many problems with a game, I have had tons of issues with Ark, even owning it digitally, but I don't understand how he can buy this game brand new and nothing happens, meanwhile every other disc he owns works perfectly fine.

    this morning we are getting attacked by a tribe called Tribe of Human, all of them with the character called Human, they only have a green paracer no turrets no more dinos, only a paracer, so we decide push them with 2 meks, my mate with the character called "bitch" and me "Josemakampa" the only people online on these moment, but on the middle of the way, between the paracer and our tower outside the cave, we instantly dead and all our structures was remove, all our dinos, like a dev wiped, but we never did something ilegal, for this we are thinking that they used any cheat.
