    We have a lot of super powerful stuff in Ark now. Is there even a way to really balance all of this?

    We now have Titans, Meks, Gigas, Titanos and years of breeding lines that bring crazy stat monsters into play.

    All the while there is a turret limit, so everyone builds in caves but raiding is still mostly about soaking.

    I wasn't playing Ark in the really early days, but still quite a while before it left EA. Remembering the times when Rexes where the shit and you couldn't breed a saber into oblivion to kill anything in sight kind of makes me want to go back to those times.

    Advice for new players

    If you gather honey then jump into water that is deep enough to swim the bee affect will go away. I discovered this because I wanted to see if the game developers decided to do this.

    I followed that guide and used an excel spreadsheet somewhere in those forums to find the names of the engrams i wanted disabled. I then proceeded to do this:

    And when i booted up my Dedicated Server it still had these S+ remote things that i wanted to get rid of in Engrams.

    Note: When i reopened Game.ini just now, the override code wasn't there but when i kept booting up the server, checking and then closing the server and then checking the file a day ago the code was still there. Do i need to put it on Read Only?

    Can't craft Dinosaur Bone Costumes with Bones

    Title. Can you not craft, say, the Wyvern Bone Costume with the bones we get from event Alphas at the moment? The option does not appear to be there on a regular Cooking Pot or S+ Cooking Pot. Playing on a private server if that helps.

    Can we only use the bones to craft the current things like the underwear and masks, and not the bone costumes? Have to wait for the Arkeology event to come around again?

    I'm confused by this

    Okay so I ended up breeding Argentavis a light grey one and a brown one, their son is yellow. I don't understand how he came out yellow since the parents are the start of the line, I hatched a second egg which came out as twins, male and female but they look like their father and have a color on their feathers from their mom but no yellow.

    Wildcard cant balance meks 1y+ after extinctions release

    Its fair to say that for official, extinction has been the biggest disaster to ever occur. Its funny cuz wildcard removed the ability to place c4 on platform saddles because they wrongfully thought that they were OP and had no counters.
    Everything about your DLC is broken, element is cheap as dirt. Snow owls basically make breeding a breeze, manas are still amazing, velos damage mutation scales too damn well, and you guys decided to make a robot (you could have at least made something organic lmao) that can destroy metal, have insane mobility (you can run down a guy with 200% movement speed) and utility thanks to its shield, have a blaster that has insane range and does a substantial amount of damage, you gave the mek an ability to repair itself. These meks can literally hover lmao. Why cant my giga, rex, theri, rhino jump? How many more months do we need to wait before you guys actually nerf meks???? Candy Corn isn't going to rebuild my turret towers.

    The only reason that meks arent literally the only things used in this game is because our tames had almost 3 years of breeding to have a chance against meks. That mek that jigga is riding is 64k hp. On wipe your best paracers will only level to like 35k hp. 65k hp racers were only reached in like 6 months of breeding.

    Balance your DLC before you ask us to buy genesis, extinction got delayed aswell and look at the shit show that meks and titans caused on release. I cant wait to see that perma tame turtle get thrown out of a cryo and 1 tap me, or mesh bite my pearl cave to death, or just plow through my underwater cave just like these meks.

    So personaly my server uses Naj's mod, love it and never really had a problem with.

    Never tried Classic Flyers, but I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on if one is better than the other, and why?

    Non-identical twins from one egg?

    [Video]Popped one egg, got two completely different rolls of parents stats/colours - female baby (233) got the good stats and dark-coloured region from the father, male baby (159) got the low health stat and yellow region from the mother. Clip wasn't long enough to catch the egg pop, but there is no way I had two as the mother just finished maturing and this was her first breeding. The mutations are inherited - none of them are new. Anybody else ever seen anything like this? I didn't think "fraternal twins" was supposed to be possible.

    How to be strong fast?

    We are playing on small tribes with my guys, but we always switch servers.

    Now we want to leave everything behind and start everything from the beginning.

    What are the main steps to become really strong? I mean like 1. Tame an argy 2. Tame an ankylo 3. Rush for industrial

    I hope someone can help me out! If you have any tips, please write that down in the comments.
