    i wanted to make a post for sharing experience in game to help others starting their way in official servers

    better ways to farm raid or build their defenses also some tip which may even old players dont know about

    ​

    1metal,stone,flint - best way i do to farm metal is on AB with karkinos and 2 ankylos mate boost the best one for higher farming rate once the ankylo is too heavy to carry around by karkinos just pick it up and move it quickly to next metal nodes till it slot cap drop all the raw metal by pressing O let your tribe mate whipe and use tek suit to bring it to your tp/base each run we get 150k ingots by slot capping the ankylo

    2poly- farming polymer also from AB map useing well breeded bears from white looking mushrooms they are located above the poison rivers/lakes, below The Edge watch out for the radiation . could get slot cap in just few minutes depends on the bear melee also i recommend to tame a shoulder pet to get both you and your shoulder pet slot capped

    tho organic polymer spoils fast you could craft soap by adding polymer and oil into a cooker and grind it with a grinder to get polymer when needed

    3cementing paste - tame snails and let them wander near gatchas they will get tons of cp

    4element dust or other needed stuff from gatcha crystals

    first of all you need a decent sized base if you are in pvp island ice cave might be great large place and easy to defend build gatcha cages place 2 by 2 door frames as walls place a female and male gatchas plus 2 snow owls in each cage so they could get the snow pellets from owls easily make sure there is enough distance from each cages so you dont make them sad

    next farm berries my method is by stegos placing it on a raft another tribe mate sailing it in the swamp while player on stego farms till it gets slot capped

    then tame an iguanodon turn the berries into seeds and place them in the gatchas equally get afk watch youtube or something and pass by the cages whiping gatchas to collect the crystals every 15 minute walla profit

    element dust is one of the most needed resource in ark it is very important to have these to trade with other needed stuff from other tribes like better dino lines or boss runs etc.. if you got lucky finding a low lvl gatcha giving element dust make sure to clone it as much as needed it is really important

    leveling up fast

    there are few ways to level up fast i guess i easiest one is in the island swamp cave get gas mask

    tame a decent megatherium with good saddle get a cryopod then find x6 xp notes also
    Broth of Enlightenment might be useful probably it will get you up to lvl 102 in just few runs

    another way is on extintion map death valley get a decent giga 1000+dmg 33k hp 80+ saddle and start killing corrupted gigas you could get gigas born at 545 melee 0%imprint for 200k element dust or less in small tribe at the moment

    there is 555melee and 565 too but expensive and mostly sold by paypal

    skip on sea tames just get a decent mana it is the best way to scout and fight underwater at the moment

    only sea tame might be needed is the angler fish to farm pearls in the viking bay cave in Ragnarok

    basilo and squid are good tank for soaking underwater bases but both are slow and defenseless against manas

    get a decent racer pump its oxygen a little bit and use the d**king method to raid any underwater base specially caves

    might not work on some caves like mushroom or easy water cave but mek rush would work for sure

    ​

    the way to fight underwater with a managarmr is jump in air ,hold breath attack then let it fall into water again move toward your target closer till it gets frozen and repeat

    watch out for stamina and oxygen if it ran out of oxygen spam space it will refill even underwater

    if it ran out of stamina dismount whistle on follow punch it in the belly to refill stamina underwater

    if someone else is doing this to you place a turret on the sea floor with some batteries to power it up

    never hide your stuff in vaults underwater many people use custom ConsoleVariables file to remove water effect or remove tree leafs so is it not safe to place anything underwater best way to hide your important stuff if you are solo or a new player on a server get a purlovia and bury it underwater caves they really really rarely get scouted by parasaur yet those could be found too if a cheater uses ESP hack so uploading might be your best bet

    if you want to build a new base while you are low on resources or connections with other allies

    keep in mind is it raid able by quetz d**king or racer d**king use cliff platform do not use death walls or towers as they are easily raid able make sure to put some turrets on shooting tame and some on only players

    you dont want an arthropleura wrecking your base just by whistle attack make sure to have decent velos or wyverns on turret mode depends on the location learn about extinction or center rat holes and build your first base there if you want to survive longer keep in mind every base is raid able and some alphas recruit bobs who would just raid stone bases with a damn mek but being online makes the difference of getting raided or not use narco grenades or flame thrower they are great for defending your base

    if you cant defend your base and the raider isnt killing dinos then let them be on passive whistle attack will just get them killed dont lock storage boxes they are easily breakable with flame arrows and most likely they will just get what they could carry and leave mostly light resources and blueprints,cryopods

    Sorry to bother you guys with this, but i really want to be sure about this before i spend a lot on my new pc.

    is the set up below good enough to run modded ark without using up all of my system (so i can open runescape nxt, discord and browser as well at the same time)?

    Pugnacious Dinos/Primal Fear/Pyria Mythos/Ark Parados

    Okay so I've seen a lot of speculation about the compatibility of these four mods together on a server. But sometimes I could never get a direct answer. this is more of just a heads up to anyone considering these four mods, they do work pretty well together in my experience. However pugnacia has had the odd ability to change the color of alphas and apexes in Primal fear making it harder to spot those Primal fear dinos. Other than that the mods seem okay. I've tested them out on my own server a little bit and the order you will want to run them in for best results is pugnacia, Primal fear mods, parados, then Pyria mods. I would also put the wild Dino count multiplier up to 2.5 to 3. But I wouldn't go any higher than that because slower computers will take a hit with the amount of Dino spawning on the map depending on the map you're using.

    Looking to run alpha rag, have my rexes and yuti ready. However, lots of people on my server recommended using a gas mask for the manticore. Is this necessary?

    Official Giga Stats?

    I haven't really played since release of the new servers so I'm unsure of where the stats are. I'm a solo player so I'm struggling to get answers. I knocked a dude out and stole his inventory with a few cryos in, one was a Giga with 1000% melee. I have it in the obelisk and haven't touched it yet but my mind is blown, that sounds insane! Is 1000 the limit?
