Ark crashes and sometimes BSOD Posted: 10 Nov 2019 11:38 AM PST (I'd like to apologize in advance if the formatting is terrible, i don't post on reddit much or at all) I crash on ark when playing with friends on a non-dedicated server (waiting for another friend to set up a dedicated) PC specs: Os: Windows 10 Home Processor: Intel Core i7 7700k @4.20GHz Ram: 40gb (2x 16gb and 2x 4gb) Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb (EVGA) ​ Link to Error: https://imgur.com/a/cJlxS0Z the stop code i got from the bluescreen was MEMORY_MANAGEMENT This only happens for ARK, no other game has given me this much trouble before submitted by /u/Smacker261 [link] [comments]

Singleplayer .ini being overwritten Posted: 09 Nov 2019 04:14 PM PST I'm at a loss on this one. I'm editing my game.ini and gameusersettings.ini to enjoy single player. Yet when I start up the game, the settings get overwritten to default. I have the header in both [/Script/ShooterGame.ShooterGameUserSettings] and have set the files to read only. Yet, it still happens. I've been away from the game for over 2 years, I don't remember having this much trouble before. I can only assume something has changed, but everything I've found via Google is from 2017 or older. ​ Edit: All of my settings are being overwritten. Including audio and video settings. And its usually just me and one of my other tribe mates cause the other one doesnt really like raiding. But she went on vacation and wont be back for 8 day. And I want to get some raiding in while shes gone. Was just curious if anyone had any solo tips for me. We all live together. And all our tvs are right next to each others. Dont nerf meks because of the dupes. Find a way to fix your game instead. Posted: 09 Nov 2019 02:12 PM PST Good meks are hard to make and find. If youre going to waste time nerfing them, nerf everything. Wiping servers wont change anything. But 200k hp paracers arent fair. 1300 melee gigas are not fair. 500 melee meks with 70k hp are not fair. 130k hp turtles are not fair. Dinos and meks NEED caps. End of story.
