    Imprinting & Kibble Question

    Posted: 20 Jan 2020 04:17 AM PST

I just got triplets out of my Dilo egg. Yes, they're not the best dinosaur, but I'm moreso testing breeding as I'm new than actually breeding for strong Dilos. So please don't make the comment "why are you breeding the most useless dino?". Because I want to, that's why. And I'm testing stuff to get the hang of breeding.

So for imprinting, if they ask for kibble after the timer hits 0, will they only ask for their preferred kibbles? Or could it literally be any kibble?

Like, Dilos prefer basic kibble for taming / eating. So will they only ask for basic or will they possibly ask for say, supreme kibble? And if they do ask for kibble instead of a walk or cuddling, do I feed them just one kibble or is it multiple?

Appreciate any help and positive feedback. I'm new to this game / breeding and some guides are a little confusing.

The story of how I overestimated my tame and lost it

    Posted: 20 Jan 2020 06:46 AM PST

It all happened... Less than 15 minutes ago. I was riding my elemental, Pet Rock. Killed some rexes and brontos, felt like king of the world.

Saw a level 20 alpha raptor, decided I can take on it because level 104 Elemental! With a 40 armor saddle! What can go wrong?

    EVERYTHING.

There was a level 140 alpha raptor nearby. Who decided to join the fun. And also some sabers, argies and regular raptors, who also jumped in.

Yep. Pet Rock no more, and the saddle is lost because there's no way to get there in time on a rex (who can actually handle the alpha raptors), and dismounting from an argy there to get the loot is not a good idea.

On the bright side, I still have the crappier elem saddle, some kibble (+everything needed to make more) and a paracer with a cannon (in need of repair, but still cheaper than making a new cannon). And experience of successfully taming Pet Rock.

Guess that's a lesson for me to always check the area for extra danger, and never mess with alphas unless riding a dino that DEFINITELY can handle it.
