I think, just as good practice, it's always beneficial to include examples. Half of the settings I thought I understood, just to discover I'm wrong, and when tweaking by small increments, it's hard to notice a difference. I hate having to go to extremes to "really see what's happening". Every slider should include "poop interval: 1 is the default setting, 0 would make poop more often, 2 less often" A lot of Reddit's answering peoples questions on these are, quite frankly, also always rude; I'm glad to you it makes sense, at the same time clearly it doesn't to people or they wouldn't be asking. Someone at some point had gone through every time and made a list which isn't there, and the wiki just has the same info as what the game tool tip shows; yes, I understand I can go on and update the wiki, at the same time, the devs should be doing this themselves, having it right in the game. | Posted: 05 Mar 2020 10:12 PM PST Ark devs figured out how to singlehandedly cure CoronaVirus, at least for all of us Ark players. They decided to put a Magmasaur, which damages turrets out of range and decided to add 6x damage on all structures everywhere. | Posted: 05 Mar 2020 09:54 PM PST Ive got a small dedicated server that me and a few friends play on. Twice now someone had loaded into the game dead. Tribe history literally just says so and so has died. Now heres the fun part, the server is offline when the deaths happen. Its happened to me once, and one other guy once. The bag location light is on and its where the person logged out, but no bag is there. [link] [comments]  | ||

As the title says my character seems to have stopped at level 24 with 2760 exp. The bar is full but no exp is added when I do things. Has anyone experienced this or know of a fix? | What are people's thoughts about these settings for a server? Posted: 04 Mar 2020 06:05 PM PST Ok so the past week or so i've been trying to find a cluster server to play on. Each one i find just isn't right so i wanted to perhaps start my own. However in order to make a cluster server i'd need people to play on it lol. It'd be fairly close to official but with a few bits boosted. It's based around the settings i used on my single player save. This would be PVE or PVP but without wars as i don't particularly like that part of ARK, feel free to try to convince me otherwise though! Anything not mentioned is the same as official. Difficulty Level: 6 (so 180 max level wild dinos) XP Multiplier: 2x Taming Speed: 7.5x Dino Harvesting Damage: 3.2x Harvest: 5x Egg Laying Interval: 0.001 Mating Interval: 0.001 Egg Hatch Speed: 50x Baby Mature Speed: 50x Harvest Health: 3 Baby Cuddle Interval: 0.046 Imprint Scale: 3x Spoiling Timer: 6x (means food spoils slower) Crop Growth Speed: 50 (crops grow quicker) Crop Decay Speed: 50 (decays slower in crop plots) Flyer Platform Unaligned Basing. Allow Raid Dino Feeding (means Titans and Titanos can be fed and are a permanent tame, as they should be imo), if the server was PVP i would probably leave it as normal or reduce their stats or something. Can build things that clip into terrain. Unlimited Respecs. I would also include a stacking mod, not sure the size yet. Probably two or three times. I would also like to include every map, or at least most maps except maybe the Center and Scorched Earth. Might see about including phoenix's on Ragnarok or something. [link] [comments]  |
