| Taming astrocetus with 100% efficiency? Posted: 23 Mar 2020 10:13 AM PDT So, I've tried the rocket launcher method. Way too slow and too many chances to cause splash dmg. I've also tried Mek. Works great, 1 shots the whale but does so much splash dmg that efficiency drops to 5%. Has anyone managed to tame it via mek, and did you aim on its head, or under? I've read that splash dmg withg a mek is unavoidable. In that case I will try cannons. Anyone know how many cannon headshots 150 needs on official settings? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 23 Mar 2020 08:26 AM PDT So, this is something that just happened to me about 20 minutes ago. I was playing single player on Valguero and I found a unicorn. I wasn't prepared at all, but it was my first time seeing one and I didn't want to lose it. I began to tame it. It was taming just fine. It took a while because I was using mejoberries. But after the taming percentage got to around 87, it ran into a rock and kept running straight not making any progress. Nothing happened until a diplodocus came along and stepped on it. I was dismounted and the unicorn disappeared. I looked everywhere. It was gone. I haven't gotten back on since I started playing because I'm pretty mad. We have a 4 server private whitelist cluster, non official, been the same group of us for years. But the one thing I just can't wrap my mind around is why the hell WC made all the items you get from the challenge rewards non grindable, especially when some of the stuff is absolutely useless on this map! I mean, they made the cryo sickness a toggleable setting, why not do the same with the grind block? Once again, they focus only on official/PvP servers (can't have one tribe getting too far ahead!) and completely ignore Pve/Unofficial. Like.... come on WC, it's been how many years that this game has been out? Get your shit together. [link] [comments]  | ||

You're better off just using a basic refining forge because it's faster and takes less resources to keep going. I was honestly hoping for something faster if not on par with the industrial forge, because that's all a magmasaur is good for on PvE. [link] [comments]  |
