Posted: 06 Jul 2020 04:49 PM PDT I play single player and I want the max level for a wild dino to be 225. What difficulty does it need to be. [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Jul 2020 03:00 PM PDT Everything I've looked up returns a page from at least 2018 or before...tried this morning and my argy would not pick it up. Neither myself or the bird were close to being encumbered. I also tried every animation (attack, grab, etc..) [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Jul 2020 08:58 AM PDT Is it me or is there some sort of bug with most 'swing' style melee weapons? If I get into a fight and try to pull a bat, it seems to only swing some of the time. It's never responsive enough to where I can reliable use it. These seems to have been the case for the 3 months or so I've been playing on both official, and unofficial. I have the same issue with swords, but not with 'stab' style melee like pikes. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a known issue? I can't find any info searching online. [link] [comments]
Multiple Xbox One dedicated servers clustered together - is it possible? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 10:56 AM PDT If this question is misplaced, please let me know. As far as I could tell, it didn't seem to be violating the community rules, but if I'm mistaken I'll ask elsewhere. I have Ark on both my Xbox one and on my PC (the Windows version that can crossplay). I have my father's account run on my Xbox One as the dedicated server, then my friends and I join my father's server, so we can co-op without dealing with tethering or any other players. Our original plan was to play through every map this way, with the same characters. The plan being we upload the creatures, items, and our survivors, close the server, then have my father's Xbox host a different map and download everything there. Upon testing, this works fine for creatures and items, but where "upload Survivor" is supposed to be there is instead "transfer servers" (or something like that.) Upon selecting that, it lists the other servers in the cluster (which, of course, there are no others), so the survivors appear to be stuck on the map they were created on. So then I thought "How about I just see if I can cluster another server or two?" There's about seven of us playing, so there's plenty of other people and consoles/PCs that can act as another dedicated server if need be. My new plan was to have my brother and I act as two other servers, where one could leave my father's server, hop into mine or my brother's, shut down my dad's server on one map and open it on another, then hop back to my dad's (my brother and I both doing this so we could hop in too.) A roundabout and annoying plan, but theoretically functional. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any way to connect Xbox-hosted dedicated servers to each other. The instructions I have found online all seem to apply to the Steam version, and revolve around setting the "cluster ID", which I have found no way to do on an Xbox One. In fact, most posts seem to claim that such things are actively impossible on Xbox One without Nitrado servers (which we don't have). Perhaps that is the case, but I wanted to see if anyone knew otherwise, as all information I have found on this is incredibly spotty and often in a tone of uncertainty. So, is there any way to add two (or more) dedicated Xbox One servers to the same cluster? Alternatively, could we stop a dedicated server from considering itself a cluster and just allow survivor uploads? Or are all these plans doomed to failure? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Jul 2020 02:33 PM PDT my friend and i picked up ark from game pass, and we started it and loved it until we found out we can't go more than 200 m of eachother, is there a way to fix this? [link] [comments]
Is Ark multiplayer worth an Xbox membership? Posted: 06 Jul 2020 12:05 PM PDT I do not have an Xbox live membership, I simply dont play multiplayer games and have no reason for one. I've started getting a little bored of single player Ark, and wondered if multiplayer was worth it? It would be the only game I'd use it for. I am not exactly swimming in money, but I do have a little leftover from last paycheck. [link] [comments] |
